The media has to accept responsibility for having incited people against Beck, ignorantly, and what that may lead to. Afterall, they're the ones who accused Sarah Palin and the right of inciting the leftist Jared Loughner. Well they need to live by their own standards and recognize how they've incited people against conservatives. This kind of ugliness belongs in North Korea, not America. We do not use violence against those with whom we disagree. Imagine as we prepare to celebrate our nation's founding and freedoms, some liberal tyrannt attacks a man for merely using his free speech rights we all enjoy. The intolerant left is as unAmerican a group a people as we can possibly conceive of. If they are so hateful of free speech and political dissent, why don't they up and move to North Korea where they'll be bothered by neither. As for Mr. Beck I suggest he move his show out of this hate-filled leftist city and state and to a nice tolerant red state instead.

The 2004 Republican convention in NYC prompted a huge demonstration such as I have never seen. There were allegedly 40,000 demonstrators filling the streets of New York for 4 hours. This was shown in its entirety on C-Span. One of the participants who was interviewed said with great outrage that he could not believe that the Republicans would come to “HIS” city. Mental cases every one.

And if you asked any of these nutballs to describe exactly why they hate Beck, you'd get either blank stares or incoherent ranting in return. They'd say stuff like "...uh...uh....Fox Lies!!!" .....and "well, he, uh, is against the poor! (without being able to back up that allegation, of course). ....and "he's pro-war!!" (which really proves they never watch him). Most libs don't know why they hate conservatives; they just know they do. It's all emotion, driving by the propaganda which they swallow whole.

That type of vile activity is common when the Nazi-like Liberals of Manhattan encounter an identifiable Conservative out in public.

I remember one spring day while waking along a street-fair on a long stretch of Broadway in the upper west side of Manhattan, during the war in Iraq.

A large group of patriotic Americans with flags, and banners in support of the troops, were walking along the sidewalk on one side of the street.

People in the crowds among the street fair started throwing items of food and anything else at the marchers, yelled profanities galore at them, called them Nazis and generally tried to chase them away.

That’s when I joined their impromptu march.

During that period there was a man who wrote op-ed pieces in the New York Sun about that kind of activity, signing himself as Mr X. He lived on the upper west side of Manhattan and many of the people he wrote about were his neighbors. He said it was bad enough but would have been impossible for him and his family if he had authored the articles in his real name.

And people say “it can’t happen here”. It already has.
