Can’t beat it for convenience, but I agree on the docking station. Must have. They keep making the machines smaller and I really prefer a larger screen for most of the work I do.

That is my take as well — larger KB and monitor seems to move things and make the interaction a lot smoother.
I’ve been a laptop convert for the past 6 years. No desire to switch back.
If anything, I’ve been getting the peripherals to make the laptops more, not less robust. I’ve got an external hd finally, and a proper cooler.
I find it odd that I am spending less for the whole package these days then I spent on my desktop bruiser, and for far more processor power.
I just spent 200 bucks on a close to 2 gig machine with a 75 gig hd. Just doesn’t seem right to me. :p
