Still furious that WV didn’t pass its constitutional carry bill this past session.

The NRA ignored it for whatever reason, and it died in committee.

Good job, NRA. If I were a member, I’d ask, “What the hell am I paying all this money for?”

There were a number of states I thought had a chance where constitutional carry ultimately failed this session. :(

Art 1, Wyoming Constitution

Sec. 7. No absolute, arbitrary power.
Absolute, arbitrary power over
the lives, liberty and property of freemen exists nowhere in a republic, not
even in the largest majority.

Sec. 24. Right to bear arms. The right of citizens to bear arms in
defense of themselves and of the state shall not be denied.

Is there a WVCDL? If so, give them your money.

Mark and I can testify to the tenacity with which AzCDL works to secure our rights. NRA may or may not show up and when they do, half the time they’re spending your money to OPPOSE your interests. They CAN often be trusted to come in after the lifting is done and try to collect the credit. The CDL’s are always there and always on the right side of the issue.

Problem is, of course, that wearing a firearm under your clothes in Wyoming means that if you need it you have to reach under your parka, your down vest, your sweater, your flannel shirt, your long johns and your net undershirt to get your weapon. ;-)

Nah. For a lot of the year, I hardly wear more than a loose-fitting Levi jacket...atop my .45 M1911A1 pistol, worn in a GI tanker's shoulder holster, over a snowmobile suit. If it gets really chilly, I may throw on an old Army field jacket with liner, or USAF winter parka instead.
