Member since July 22, 2003. I've posted a total of 4,099 threads and 31,200 replies. I've gotten my money's worth as a monthly donor of just $10 per month - about 33¢ per day, it's not much but if every active and occasional user pledged just $10 per month, we wouldn't have a need for FReepathons.

I joined on the day the The King passed away, as someone pointed out to me, in 2000. However, I started lurking in 1998 after I heard Rush speak about the Monica thing, Free Republic, and the Drudge Report.
I thought it would be a worthwhile effort to learn to use the internet so that I would be able to check out these sites.
And....here we are today. FR is still here, and I am a monthly donor, too.
