My main concern is, what’s going to happen in the future? We’re above water now, but I’m afraid Obamanomics will make the future bleak. Inflation, higher taxes, no economic recovery.

The difference the 89 is cheaper than 87 in Iowa is that it has lower state gas tax. Support the farmers and all by selling more ethanol blend, with lower taxes.

“Obama will get to declare martial law”

Declaring martial law amounts to declaring war on the citizens. So many citizens in this country have guns and ammo...

I agree with you. I’m no fan of the chosen one at all.

However, just what good has the GOP been in the past 10+ years?

“I heard the other day that 70,000,000 Americans are getting a check from the Federal Government.”

I assume you are including social security, which is not a handout.
I agree, however, there are plenty of bums that are on the dole, and having been out of the US since 2004, I have failed to see how low the society has sunken.
I just now installed satellite US TV, with FOX news, and I really see the change from when I left.
It now looks like something out of a horror film.

On another note, if you really want to see the real dregs of society in America, check out the “Topix” US forums.
It is a real cross section of the red diaper doper babies.
It seems to be mostly kids, seeing who can out-insult each
other.

Some of these jackasses deserve everything they’ve got. It’s just a shame that the rest of us have to get it too.

True. But you know, when have civilian weapons worked against military ordnanace,it would at best be a prolonged guerilla war.The military would have to rebel against our usurped government.Certainly some red states would immobalize the fedeeral government and the military. Its not a pretty picture, with an unsecured southern border with armed war lord invaders waiting.

Obama has already declared war against the citizenry, a fact that people are gradually understanding as things continue to ripen. Therefore our future is fraught with uncertainty. We need patriotic leaders, true Americans, and its time to roust them and form the lines.

That's the problem. Millions of Americans are asking the same question and are in full conservation mode until they have a clearer picture of what is going on.

Let’s be fair. This isn’t Obamas fault

Really?

Ever heard of Fanny and Freddie?

That's the biggest catalyst to the downfall. During the Bush years, Bush tied to stop those loans that the banks were forced to make to people without financial elegibility - or EVEN a job.

Bwarny FRank and pals keep insisting "NO PROBLEM"

Now who forced the banks to make these loans that they did NOT want to make?

Ummmm - oh, that would be ACORN. Ever hear of them?

And who was their lawyer who represented them in court - and won the case that forced the banks to make these loans?

He wasn't a politician - yet.

He is now.

He's president.

So cut him slack if you want. I shan't.

Here's a history of the WON's association with ACORN: You might find it enlightening. It includes what I mentioned re the mortgage meltdown

(link: http://www.theobamafile.com/ObamaACORN.htm

Excerpt: In 1994, lawyer Obama, a graduate of Harvard Law School then fresh from his Project Vote! experience, represented ACORN in the Buycks-Roberson v. Citibank Federal Savings Bank case, in which ACORN pressed for Citibank to make more loans to marginally qualified African-American applicants "in a race neutral way."

After obtaining a settlement in the Citibank litigation, ACORN used its subsidiary organization ACORN Housing, a nationwide organization with offices in more than 30 U.S. cities, to push the group's radical agenda to get subprime home buyers mortgages under the most favorable terms possible." end excerpt.

Cut him slack. NOT.

Who's is it then? Since Jan 2007 to Jan 2011, the democRATs have been in control of both houses of Congress. Since Jan 2009 to Jan 2011, the democRATs have controlled two BRANCHES of the government.

Besides 0bama care, Stimulus, TARP, GM, AIG, etc., the democRATs have spent us into a very bad situation.

0bama, Reid and Pelosi are TOTALLY responsible for getting the U.S. into this mess.

BTW,

Financial calm, not wealth accumulation, now key for retirees

http://ifawebnews.com/2011/07/13/financial-calm-not-wealth-accumulation-now-key-to-retirees/

From Article:

Financial peace of mind is now six times more important than accumulating wealth, according to a new survey of Americans age 55 and up.

For 82% of those polled in April, financial peace of mind was their key financial goal.

The failed economy and global recession has caused Americans to adopt new expectations for their retirement, according to the SunAmerica Retirement Re-Set Study, performed by Harris Interactive.

Just one-in-five Americans at least 55 years old remains hopeful for the future, according to Jay S. Wintrob, president and CEO of SunAmerica Financial Group.

“Americans are emerging from the experience with new knowledge, new discipline and have re-set their vision of an ideal retirement,” Wintrob said in a statement.

“I am not so much concerned with the return on capital as I am with the return of capital.”

That’s alright. I’ve already told my wife to save up and get me a Stetson. I’m gonna sew a big ole Texas flag on the front and Old Glory on the back.

Don’t expect I’ll get shot wearing that — least not by our folks .. LOL

BTW, is there a doctor in the house?

this huge scar on the WON’s head has never been explained that I have heard of.

What would make this kind of scar?

http://theobamafile.com/_oddsnends/ObamasScar.htm

I think that the American people have a right to know.

On a whim I stopped at a garage sale today. It was the “good” stuff from three ladies 40 years of diligent collecting. Made a killing on some sweet collectibles and guns that will only go up in value.

“when have civilian weapons worked against military ordnanace,it would at best be a prolonged guerilla war.”

It has worked well in Iraq and Afghanistan it seems too me.

We have 100 million people who are armed. Even if the feds could control the military (which they couldn’t), What are they going to do? Bomb American cities? NOT
