ED HENRY, FOX NEWS CHIEF WHITE HOUSE CORRESPONDENT: …If you basically have this Boehner plan that you say can’t get through the Senate and you've got a Reid plan that the Republicans don’t think you can get through the Senate or the House and you’re saying we want a compromise, what was the point of giving a prime-time address to the nation without an Obama plan and say neither of these other plans can work? Where's his plan?

I don’t know.

JesseWatters has hijacked his own thread. It’s no longer about the topic he posted. (Whatever it was)

It’s now a question of is JesseWatters the real deal? Or an imposter?

One thing for sure is that he’s trolling FR by not replying.

IBTZ.

"The fact that we are here today to debate raising America's debt limit is a sign of leadership failure. It is a sign that the U.S. Government can't pay its own bills. It is a sign that we now depend on ongoing financial assistance from foreign countries to finance our Government's reckless fiscal policies. … Increasing America's debt weakens us domestically and internationally. Leadership means that 'the buck stops here.' Instead, Washington is shifting the burden of bad choices today onto the backs of our children and grandchildren. America has a debt problem and a failure of leadership. Americans deserve better." --From Sen. Obama's Floor Speech, March 20, 2006

At the time, Senator Obama was urging Congress not to tolerate an increase that would bring the debt ceiling to $9 trillion.

Under President Obama, the debt ceiling has been raised to $14.3 trillion. Even without counting most unfunded liabilities, the national debt is now calculated to be nearing $14.1 trillion.

It increases about $4.22 billion per day (each citizen's share stands at roughly $45K). Thus, Democrats will soon demand that the debt ceiling be raised, lest the sky fall. When they do, they will be asking for a significant boost in a ceiling that is already 60 percent higher than the one Barack Obama said was "a sign of leadership failure" five years ago.

Hairy Reid on raising the debt ceiling on 2006:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ELkbDdPeL7I

"If my Republican friends believe that increasing our debt by almost $800 billion today and more than $3 trillion over the last five years is the right thing to do, they should be upfront about it. They should explain why they think more debt is good for the economy. How can the Republican majority in this Congress explain to their constituents that trillions of dollars in new debt is good for our economy? How can they explain that they think it's fair to force our children, our grandchildren, our great grandchildren to finance this debt through higher taxes. That’s what it will have to be. Why is it right to increase our nation’s dependence on foreign creditors?"

Obama skips debt commission meeting (Dec. 2010)

WASHINGTON (CNN) - President Obama did not attend a White House meeting Thursday with members of his own debt commission, irking some of the Democrats on the panel who were expecting a high-level push from the commander-in-chief to show that its comprehensive deficit reduction plan is being taken seriously by the White House. "He should have at least dropped by," one Democratic member of the debt commission told CNN, speaking on the condition of anonymity because he wanted to speak more freely about the panel's private meeting.

yeah, he cares.

Eight Hundred Days Without A Budget-A new milestone in Democrat Party governance is reached.

Democrats have controlled the Senate and the White House since the election of 2008, and the House of Representatives up until this year. Certainly they could have passed any budget they desired, including one with tax increases and spending increases. But they chose to ignore the 800-day gorilla in the room because they don't want to be on record supporting a budget that actually does what they want. Then the public could hold them accountable for their cowardly and irresponsible behavior in the face of national fiscal calamity.

No guarantee it’s Ted Baxter’s producer, but he’s posted about 100 articles, all from Fox and not one reply to anyone on any thread. Smells like fishin’ for hits, not trolling for fun.

You will not get a response from this poster. He simply posts threads from fox nation and takes off. I abhor posters like this and wish they would be banned.

Is FoxNation.com a blog or a news source?

Yes, this is a serious question. Sort of.

” CARNEY: …quite a lot of detail. The president stood before you, I can’t remember if you were here Friday night, some of you weren’t because you cut out early, but a lot of you were (GROANS FROM THE PRESS)”

Carney is such an unrepentant whore, that even the MSM is tiring of him.

I think I’m leaning towards agreeing with you two. If he wants to be an active member of the forum, even infrequently, then welcome to him. If he isn’t interested in what anyone says, only in getting hits for his articles then call out the kitties.

Thanks for the link to the O'Reilly segment.

We all go through scrutiny Jesse. It's just a requirement of being a FReeper.

Well-stated.

Thanks for posting.

It looks a bit like a blog faked-up to appear as if affiliated with Fox.

I may be wrong. I’ve seen something very similar done using Hot Air.

Fox Nation really is part of Fox News. There is a link to ‘Fox Nation’ right at the top of the Foxnews.com webpage, right next to ‘Fox News Latino’ (your favorite I’m sure).

But just because it’s linked to Fox News does that make it any less a blog?

I reckon so, it would fall under their umbrella of excerpting requirements.

Insofar as CONTENT.. well, a blog.. is just a blog after all.

If you do work for Fox, tell those reporters to mention that Boehner cannot bind a future Congress and therefore his future cuts have no meaning.

You cannot be serious. Go to "jesse's" profile and click on 'In Forum.'

What do you see? He posts a link to Fox Nation and NEVER replies to anyone! This is not the real Jesse. It's a blog pimp of the worst kind and people around here eat it up because of a screen name? Ridiculous.

They won't because that would be admitting that the average freeper is Einstein compared to these diptards. They're about as useful as busboys at a NY hot dog cart.
