One of the kids (a boy of 7 or 8) made the statement that he wanted a new bike because his father ran over his with his truck. The CPS woman took the stand and had the ignorant gall to claim the man intentionally ruined the boys bike because she knew he had warned him several times that if he kept leaving it in the driveway it was going to get run over. I think the jury did a collective eye roll.
Stop. Do not talk to ANYONE ELSE about this matter.
Go directly to an attorney that is experienced in dealing with CPS, and, if necessary, borrow the money to pay him/her. Follow the attorney’s instructions.
Do not try to take on CPS by yourself again, and, when you finish, consult your attorney about the advisability of turning the tables on CPS and the family member who caused all this. Listen and take the advice you’ve paid for.

It amazes me how many otherwise intelligent people, think that they can deal with CPS by themselves and everything will be fine. If you got into a Real Estate or Land dispute in which potentially you could lose your home, the first thing you would do is run out and get the best lawyer that you could afford. When you are dealing with CPS, you are essentially in a dispute where you could lose your children, you might say, “That’s no going to happen, I’m a good parent. I didn’t do anything wrong. I can just show them...” They don’t care if you are innocent or are a good parent, their job is to build a case against you and they know the system a hell of a lot better than you. Dealing with them without a good lawyer is like trying to represent yourself in the property case. You may very well be in the right, you might have the law on your side. But odds are you will lose because you don’t understand the system and “how” to defend yourself.
If your child has blond hair and blue eyes get a really good lawyer and never let CPS in your house again without a warrant. They get big bucks for adopting out certain kids.
In bad economic times or anytime the budget of a bureaucrat is threatened they will make work for themselves.
They will go to great lengths to make individuals, businesses, parents or others prove themselves innocent just to get the same or more money in next years budget. Creating vast amounts of paper work is easy for these lazy people to have written proof that they are invaluable to the state.
Here in Missouri the many departments of government are not allowed to lobby the legislature for money. They can not have lobbyists. Instead the various department get around the state laws by having "Legislative Liaisons" on their payroll who are nothing more than full time lobbyists.
Bureaucrats are the best at knowing how to work the system when it comes to protecting their jobs and benefits.
Well, sending her to public school is pretty much child abuse.
Once CPS notices you for any reason it is time to move to another state. CPS will not relent and will dog you for the rest of your child-rearing life.
Some years back my boy and family lived in Alabama. One night his eight-year-old stepson had a friend over. Around 10 pm they went to bed (non-school month). At 12 am they get the brainwave to play detective and slip out the window.
The police catch them shining a flashlight in store doorways “looking for criminals” and bring the kids home.
The next day some official (dunno if it was CPS) shows up and grills my son. When he said he put the kids to bed and shut the door, the guy exclaimed “Oh, so you ABANDONED your children and left them unsupervised. You’ll hear from us.”
The wife freaked out but luckily she knew the mayor’s wife. One phone call shut everything down right away. They did, as many here suggested, left the state.
Healthy new born babies have been targets for adoption before they even left the hospital. Perhaps they were targets even before they were born.
A tip from a member of the medical staff earns a nice payoff.

Once in a while they need actual results in order to keep their sinecures. Like some LEOs, they know it's easier and safer to make up stuff about regular people than to deal with the sort of scum they should be dealing with.

have same problem with new braunfuls child protective service in comal county never answers phone, never returns calls, doesnt look after childs best intersted, makes up mind before court date, believes any lie they hear, does not investagate, turns child over to person who bites her, will not let her return to the person who raised her and loves her more than anything else in the world, because they said Im to old (im 68, shes 14) shiped her 6 hours away from me. and has formed an opinion of me from day one (which is dislike)I really hate these people, they are not there to help only to hurt
When I went to deliver, a Health America doctor refused to see me and said a resident will have to do it since they didn't want to be held responsible. I'm in labor and not in the best mood. I told her I would be happier with a resident than any Health America doctor. She stormed from the room and I heard the snickers from the other medical personnel. I was treated like a queen, word got around that I told this woman off.
She wasn't done with me..a hospital social worker told us that the Health America doctor advised them that since I had no prenatal care, my baby could not go home with us. I had her call my gynecologist, she rolled her eyes and apologized. I had no idea these things happened..he is 23 now so the danger has passed.
What are these peoples names? (cps) I live in Spokane WA. I’m afraid of cps so much i dont even want to have my baby in the hospital.
