Agenda 21 Update: Family Farms Are Under Attack
The Blaze ^ | 7/31/11 | Mike Opelka

Is the US government starting to implement the policies of the United Nation’s plan for global management of people and resources known as Agenda 21? The latest efforts out of the Department of Transportation (DOT) seem to indicate this is happening. And they are starting by targeting America’s farming communities with costly and oppressive regulations.

In Late May, the DOT proposed a rule change for farm equipment, and if it this allowed to take effect, it will place significant regulatory pressure on small farms and family farms all across America – costing them thousands of dollars and possibly forcing many of them out of business. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), part of the Department of Transportation (DOT), wants new standards that would require all farmers and everyone on the farm to obtain a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) in order to operate any farming equipment. The agency is going to accomplish this by reclassifying all farm vehicles and implements as Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs).

(It is also important to note here that DOT Secretary Ray LaHood holds a seat on the newly created White House Rural Council. A powerful group whose members have ties to George Soros and The Center For American Progress.)

That’s funny. I was steering a John Deere A tractor across the hills of western Iowa so the men could pick up bales when I was five years old. Somehow I don’t think I could have gotten a CDL.

my favorite is when Obama’s EPA make dairy farmers treat spilled milk, as dangerous, and under the Hazardous Waste rules.

MY first thought;

Can you take a CDL test in spanish ?

Second thought;

Don’t take the equipment on the road,no authority.

These are the things that republcans should be screaming at the top of their lungs about. Just proves to me they’re all in it together. Keep the gravy train flowing so they can live the high life.

I guess the aim is this; by requiring the licences, all farm help will be old enough and professional enough to require unionization...? And so at last the farms can be controlled by lefties.

Is this the aim?

If you don’t speak English, they’ll GIVE you a license.

Reminds me of what a guy once told me about a honky-tonk. If you don’t have a gun they’ll give you one at the door.

No, the aim is to have only enough of a populace to serve the taskmasters (Satanists/Communists/Fascists), and have everyone else suffer, grovel and die.

“they’re all in it together”

And have been for decades. Until people stop voting for either, as we were forewarned not to, by the Founding Fathers, then this mess will ONLY get worse.

Last year, there was an effort by homeland security to create a list of all farm workers, legal and illegal and establish homeland security as a clearinghouse for all farm jobs, essentially turning homeland security into a union hall. They claimed that they would first send out US citizens, then the illegals. Of course they didn’t call them “illegals.

The purpose is two fold, make all farm jobs, union jobs and employ the illegals as union members with union benefits. Actually, that should have been three fold because it also frees the farmers from prosecution for hiring illegals. It actually frees the farmers from all responsibility in connection to the illegal farm workers.

Same here. I grew up on a ranch and we all learned how to drive a tractor and pickup at early ages. If he were alive today, my dad would be waiting with his rifle for the sonsabitches to enforce that crap.

Most states in this country have written in law that a farmer does not need a CDL for farm business, even his children are exempt from the age requirement. The only state that is different is California, there anyone that works on a farm can drive a commercial vehicle for farm purposes and all that is required to get a CDL is a letter from a farmer saying the person drove for him for six months. I am sure that if you know the correct illegal in California you can buy one of those letters.

Stop paying farmers not to grow food. Hell, stop paying farmers one way or another. No subsidies, for ethanol or otherwise. And I say that as the son-in-law of a farmer. You make it or you don’t based on how you do in the market. End farm subsidies. End ethanol subsidies. Now.

Let’s see. I know farmers in MN that bought land for $500 per acre not that many years ago that is now worth $5,000 per acre.

They are getting $8 per bushel of corn because of their demand for ethanol in this country.

They are retired at age 50 in Arizona and hiring people to run their farms or renting it out at $150 per acre or more.

They buy a new pickup each year and write it off as a service vehicle for their farm.

They fill their large fuel tanks on the farm with fuel without any road tax charged to it since they claim it will be used by tractors and off road equipment.

They haul a steer to market after deducting the entire cost of raising it and then even deduct the cost of the butcher who cut, wrapped, and delivered it to their freezer for personal use.

I could list another dozen or more reasons why today’s farmers are nothing but tax cheats and government sucklings.

I have NO TIME for Farmers anymore.

Absolutely, coming from farming stock, I agree. The price of food would jump, and I’m fine with that. The same price gets paid one way or another, whether through subsidies and the increase of taxation, or directly to the farmer. I’d rather have ZERO government involvement, and let the free market set the price. But alas, no one alive today has ever known a free market.

Is this the aim?

No. The aim is to make it so that only large corporate conglomerates can afford to have licensed vehicles with Licensed operators, and still make a profit.

Union workers? No, most likely illegal aliens, like Tyson Foods uses.
