Is the US government starting to implement the policies of the United Nations plan for global management of people and resources known as Agenda 21? The latest efforts out of the Department of Transportation (DOT) seem to indicate this is happening. And they are starting by targeting Americas farming communities with costly and oppressive regulations.
In Late May, the DOT proposed a rule change for farm equipment, and if it this allowed to take effect, it will place significant regulatory pressure on small farms and family farms all across America costing them thousands of dollars and possibly forcing many of them out of business. The Federal Motor Carrier Safety Administration (FMCSA), part of the Department of Transportation (DOT), wants new standards that would require all farmers and everyone on the farm to obtain a CDL (Commercial Drivers License) in order to operate any farming equipment. The agency is going to accomplish this by reclassifying all farm vehicles and implements as Commercial Motor Vehicles (CMVs).
(It is also important to note here that DOT Secretary Ray LaHood holds a seat on the newly created White House Rural Council. A powerful group whose members have ties to George Soros and The Center For American Progress.)

The list, ping
Let me know if you would like to be on or off the ping list

That’s funny. I was steering a John Deere A tractor across the hills of western Iowa so the men could pick up bales when I was five years old. Somehow I don’t think I could have gotten a CDL.
my favorite is when Obama’s EPA make dairy farmers treat spilled milk, as dangerous, and under the Hazardous Waste rules.
MY first thought;
Can you take a CDL test in spanish ?
Second thought;
Don’t take the equipment on the road,no authority.
These are the things that republcans should be screaming at the top of their lungs about. Just proves to me they’re all in it together. Keep the gravy train flowing so they can live the high life.
I guess the aim is this; by requiring the licences, all farm help will be old enough and professional enough to require unionization...? And so at last the farms can be controlled by lefties.
Is this the aim?
Wickard V. Filburn
If you don’t speak English, they’ll GIVE you a license.
Reminds me of what a guy once told me about a honky-tonk. If you don’t have a gun they’ll give you one at the door.
No, the aim is to have only enough of a populace to serve the taskmasters (Satanists/Communists/Fascists), and have everyone else suffer, grovel and die.
“theyre all in it together”
And have been for decades. Until people stop voting for either, as we were forewarned not to, by the Founding Fathers, then this mess will ONLY get worse.
Last year, there was an effort by homeland security to create a list of all farm workers, legal and illegal and establish homeland security as a clearinghouse for all farm jobs, essentially turning homeland security into a union hall. They claimed that they would first send out US citizens, then the illegals. Of course they didn’t call them “illegals.
The purpose is two fold, make all farm jobs, union jobs and employ the illegals as union members with union benefits. Actually, that should have been three fold because it also frees the farmers from prosecution for hiring illegals. It actually frees the farmers from all responsibility in connection to the illegal farm workers.
Thats funny. I was steering a John Deere A tractor across the hills of western Iowa so the men could pick up bales when I was five years old. Somehow I dont think I could have gotten a CDL.
Same here. I grew up on a ranch and we all learned how to drive a tractor and pickup at early ages. If he were alive today, my dad would be waiting with his rifle for the sonsabitches to enforce that crap.
Most states in this country have written in law that a farmer does not need a CDL for farm business, even his children are exempt from the age requirement. The only state that is different is California, there anyone that works on a farm can drive a commercial vehicle for farm purposes and all that is required to get a CDL is a letter from a farmer saying the person drove for him for six months. I am sure that if you know the correct illegal in California you can buy one of those letters.
Stop paying farmers not to grow food. Hell, stop paying farmers one way or another. No subsidies, for ethanol or otherwise. And I say that as the son-in-law of a farmer. You make it or you don’t based on how you do in the market. End farm subsidies. End ethanol subsidies. Now.
See my tagline
Let’s see. I know farmers in MN that bought land for $500 per acre not that many years ago that is now worth $5,000 per acre.
They are getting $8 per bushel of corn because of their demand for ethanol in this country.
They are retired at age 50 in Arizona and hiring people to run their farms or renting it out at $150 per acre or more.
They buy a new pickup each year and write it off as a service vehicle for their farm.
They fill their large fuel tanks on the farm with fuel without any road tax charged to it since they claim it will be used by tractors and off road equipment.
They haul a steer to market after deducting the entire cost of raising it and then even deduct the cost of the butcher who cut, wrapped, and delivered it to their freezer for personal use.
I could list another dozen or more reasons why today’s farmers are nothing but tax cheats and government sucklings.
I have NO TIME for Farmers anymore.
Absolutely, coming from farming stock, I agree. The price of food would jump, and I’m fine with that. The same price gets paid one way or another, whether through subsidies and the increase of taxation, or directly to the farmer. I’d rather have ZERO government involvement, and let the free market set the price. But alas, no one alive today has ever known a free market.
No. The aim is to make it so that only large corporate conglomerates can afford to have licensed vehicles with Licensed operators, and still make a profit.
Union workers? No, most likely illegal aliens, like Tyson Foods uses.
“ the collectivists seek to control every aspect of the lives of every American and every person on the planet. The individualists wish only to win control over the degree of power possessed by government and wish no control over the lives of Americans no power, no money, no special place in the economy. They want to ensure government remains constitutionall y limited and creates the proper environment for peace and prosperity. In other words, individualists seek to liberate man and collectivists seek to control man.

I am recommending that everyone read the autobiography of Whittaker Chambers, the guy who testified against Alger Hiss. His explanation of the goal of communism, to use the human mind to make order out of the chaos of nature in an attempt to prove that man is the highest power, explains the politicization of the environmental movement and the attempt to re-order society through the Agenda 21. It’s stunning to think that the book was written in the fifties. He also wrote about the danger that Islam posed to the western world. It’s just an amazing book.
I recall the event when the communists used the control of food to starve a nation of people.
Agree.
Christ is going to come back and interupt their little plan though.
I took a John Deere tractor with a big cutter bar and mowed a large field of grass/hay at age 8 with about 5 minutes of instruction. The objective is to prevent under 18 family members from contributing to work on the family farm, It may weed out illegals in the process.
FYI,
"This proposed change literally means family farms could no longer legally allow young workers, not old enough to drive and seniors who no longer drive on the public streets, to operate a tractor
even on the familys private property."
I believe that about 1 in 5 males are to some degree color blind. That would keep them from getting a CDL in most states.
This is ridiculous. Myself, I’d just tell them to screw off and drive my tractor anyway. It may get to that point where many will just ignore these laws and go on with their lives.
BTW, I was talking to one of the mechanics on my delivery routes (I deliver auto parts) and he told me the EPA will require all motors and engines on lawn mowers, tractors and motorcycles to be water cooled. Has anyone else heard of this?
Thanks for that recommendation — will check it out.
It appears this one is true, wow didn’t expect this to be the case.

Response: Absolutely correct.
Comment: They will kill us to keep their perks and this will continue until they are taken out of their offices naked.
Color blindness is actually more of a deal breaker.
Below is probably what America will look like before the end of the Obama Administration.
Farmers will simply ignore the rule and you can bet the county sheriffs will not enforce it.
Shoot, the Dept. of Education has SWAT teams now. Why not the DOT?
.
Once again it proves the adage farmers are asset rich but cash poor.
Corn is not $8.00/bushel and just last year corn was under $4.00/bushel. As for ethanol be careful what you wish for. You may find your gasoline bill a little higher.
I don’t see any farmers retiring that early. I will admit some smaller farmers are renting out their land because the capital requirements and the dollars per acre needed to put in a crop have made it an easy decision.
Pickups are the service vehicle for farms. What are we supposed to drive a Prius?
You can’t use red(dyed) diesel in on road vehicles. You have to use clear diesel and the Highway Patrol does check. If caught you pay taxes and penalties on all gallons.
Not being a rancher not sure about this one but I would guess the deductible expenses on one cow are less than charlie rangel’s taxes.
Last but not least don’t bitch with your mouth full.
Welcome to the USSR! Operator licenses have been required there for years. Bleeping mess.
Not family farmers. This particular bit of DOT bull crap is designed to drive family farms completely out of business. For indeed, who would be able to only employ CDL holders and maintain the paperwork— corporate farms. Don’t confuse family farmers with corporate farmers.
Corporate farmers are the ones who got corn ethanol subsidies through RINOs (see Archer Daniels Midland and Bob Dole).
They are the ones who work a deal with USDA and state ag commissions to be paid subsidies NOT to farm a crop or to lay fallow an acreage, even as they have a consortium to trade commodities futures as shorts or longs in these crops, as appropriately timed to the arrangement.
They are the ones who push and get special federal govt. tax breaks to construct a soy-diesel alternative fuel plant, supplied not by their farms, but by outside (trainloads) of grain stocks.
Just one large example: U.S. Sugar Corp. HQ Clewiston, FL a PRIVATELY HELD corporate farming company-187K acres of sugarcane and 30K plus in citrus groves/cattle. Privately held by the Charles Stewart Mott foundation, and through ESOP employees.
The Chairman of the Board of US Sugar Corp is one William S. White, who is also the CEO of the Charles Stewart Mott Foundation. Charles Stewart Mott,Sr. (died 1973), and subsequently his “NON PROFIT” foundation is (or was) the LARGEST direct shareholder of General Motors through Motors Liquidation Co and its allied General Unit Trust of the same name. That is— the US Govt. bailed out GM by bailing out the largest shareholder— a non-profit foundation— with US taxpayer money, and still lost 1.83 billion on the sale of GM stock at reduced value.
The C.S. Mott foundation is based in Flint, MI (aka Detroit) and hands out grants to the likes of Nelson Mandela foundation, or race & reconciliation, abortion, or “sustainable development” and carbon credits from global warming initiatives. God Help Us.
This is the kind of “farmer” you should direct your anger against. Not the producing, for profit small family farmer- who, even with the individual actions you cite (all done while the crop may/may not grow, funded by a credit line that is controlled by— the US govt.) cannot compare to the corporate international socialist crony sponges and their RINO buddies, who will support this ridiculous DOT agenda.
Respectfully,-from a 4th generation U.S. family farmer. Deo Vindice.
Thank you. Very few here no anything about RED DYE diesel. Do any freepers know who caused this to happen for reasons of a special tax on fuels— a dye additive to separate taxed from not taxed so that vehicles could be checked and fuel supplies targeted against farmers? HMMM?
It was Al Gore... mr. goldman sachs, mr. global golden warming sachs. Mr... “ah topped it, ah stripped it, ah hung it (tobacco)...” authentinc farming man of the working people. Lying sack of fermented horse manure.
Most people who make macquire’s type of comments are unaware of day to day requirements of the people who grow US food, and NOT for export.
He is completely wrong about cattle. Simply not true. Get a farming tax form and fill it out for a 200 head herd sold at market— then apply allowable deductions against gross revenue. You can check this against what is happening right now in the beef market because of the drought in TX.
You left off the wind driven electrical generating beanie hats that said cyclists must wear and then connect the bike batteries to the grid whenever they stop, to “add to the grid”— as required by the State.
agreed
If the governor of a state directs their state HP to ignore these “violations” and if the sheriffs follow suit I don’t know who would enforce this crap. Or, if the states hand out special CDLs to farmers to get around the requirement, what then?
By the way this is one way Texas could get another leg up on California in the area of farming - help farmers flout the law instead of abetting it.
Heck, my hubby and I ARE farmers and we agree with you!
From, The Witness,:
Economics is not the central problem of this century. It is a relative problem which can be solved in relative ways. Faith is the central problem of this age. The Western world does not know it, but it already possesses the answer to this problem-but only provided that its faith in God and the freedom He enjoins is as great as Communism’s faith in Man.
