We are about to be ruled by a Politburo. The MSM is claiming that the debt agreement is a win for the Tea Party. Hmm, you think they might be lying?

This is nonsense. Any recommendations made by any committee would have to be voted on.

I think they are calling this a win for the Tea Party just like they did for Boehner when he was able to extend the Bush tax cuts, and next year will blame the bad economy on Bush, Boehner and the Tea Party.

Oh, here we go, exposition #1 and #2: grandstanding and extreme weakness in proportion.
When the people will be weak and they decide it was not such a good idea, because they will be weak, it will be too late.
The genocide of the worthy type, this wheel of selecting the weak over the strong, started at the French Revolution’s guillotine, by the way.

So, in essence they are trying to create another chamber within the Congress. I think this would take an amendment to the Constitution if I am thinking correctly.

What happens when Americans are not paying attention when it comes time to elect public Officials. Barry Soetoro was selected —not elected. The fix was in as soon as he agreed to
be the face his handlers wanted. Now Congress will do like it always DOES and TELL LIES to the American people they have power over about how we need this legislation and the American sheeple will bleet and bray and wring their hands and do nothing until the next election and then they will vote as they are told to vote like good little darkies on the Democratic Party Plantation.

It’s interesting, because I frankly think that the UN’s official language might as well become arabic.

looks like the latest incarnation of a “base closing commission” or “debt panel commission”.
if it includes “taxes on the rich”, Obammy and media presstitutes will hail it as a wonderful solution arrived upon by wise, bipartisan, elder statesmen.
if it says we need to cut spending and entitlements a whole lot more, it will be ignored and/or voted down.

The whole “super congress” thing is a huge joke and the politicians know it, it has no power or authority other than what the current congress says it has and nothing it does can bind a future congress. Do you honestly think if the democrats got back into power in 2012 and this “super congress” put forward massive spending cuts, they would be allowed to happen? The democrats would simply ignore the super congress, and kill the so-called triggers on a simple majority vote (and probably eliminate the super congress in the process). It would take a constitutional amendment to create a “super congress” with any actual power.

Here's a hint for those pinheads in Washington:
"the right of the People to keep and bear arms shall not be infringed".Merely discussing limiting MY access to firearms constitutes infringement.

Congress can Constitutionally do no such thing. However, the effort might cause them to discover what a “Super Militia” looks like.

Why would any of the 6 Repubs on the committee vote for this?
Runaway sensationalism is alive and well today.
