Now more than ever, Muslim and non-Muslim Islamic apologists are making broad-based and inaccurate attacks on my scholarship and integrity; but when it comes to backing up their claims in debate with me, they suddenly get cold feet. The list of Islamic "scholars" and non-Muslim "experts" who have refused to debate me keeps growing; it now includes Ahmed Afzaal; Akbar Ahmed; Karen Armstrong; Reza Aslan; Jamal Badawi; Robert Crane; Dinesh D'Souza (although I did best him in debate at CPAC in 2007, he refuses a return engagement, perhaps sensing the outcome would be the same); Carl Ernst; John Esposito; Mark LeVine; Khaleel Mohammed; Grover Norquist; Ahmed Rehab; Louay Safi; and the viciously mendacious academic propagandist Omid Safi, who ought to have been fired from UNC-Chapel Hill long ago for his vile false claim that I had sent him death threats.
And now we can add Juan Cole, the heavy hitter who has equated Sarah Palin with Mahmoud Ahmadinejad and defended Saudi Wahhabism. Jihad Watch reader David wrote to him asking him to debate me. He received this response from Cole:
Hi, David.
Spencer is a fraud with no academic credentials in Islamic studies. For me to debate him would bestow on him a level of legitimacy his falsehoods have not earned him.

Most Muslim “scholars” refuse to debate Spencer, they know they would get their Koran, handed to them on a platter. ;-)

Now I have a question...
Not necesarilly directed to anyone, but if xomeone has an answer ....
Catholics pray for the repose of the souls in Purgatory because they believe the soul is in a cleansing place (not a nice place, like heaven .. ), so the wording of those prayers indicate that they want a better place for that soul.
Non Catholics pray for souls here to get saved because they believe the destination is determined here on earth and a conscious decision to accept Christ as Savior, so the words of those prayers indicate there is a better place to go (heaven) and if you don't receive Jesus as Savior, you go to hell.
(please don't flame me for generalizations ...)
My question is;
If Muslims can go to a good place (paradise) when they die, I would assume that, if the living Muslims KNOW their loved one is there, The prayers (words) would indicate praise and thank you as opposed to Gee, I hope you made it ...
and if Allah is God
Why does peace need to be constantly conferred on him?
I proffer, the bastard burns in hell as an ambasador of Satan and along with Mohamad, they are in constant anguish and the Islamists are falsely taught to continually try to ease their pain by saying words .... praying .... for allah to be at peace.
Or is peace defined a disfferent way, in which case ... again, people are falsely taught a 'logic' ... that ain't.
