Alabama had that major tornado outbreak in may, if I remember right. Big sections lost power for a week or so. I heard but cannot confirm that they were making people eligible for food replacement via food stamps. My guess is that is the cause of the jump in participation in Alabama. Very pathetic that people would take advantage of screwing the rest of the country over a week of spoiled food. I have no faith in my fellow state residents or the country anymore.

I am convinced that true conservatives make up only about 15-20% of the country. We have lost the republic! :(

Folks, I may be preaching to the choir here, but please consider setting at least six months of food and other supplies aside for yourself and every member of your family.
Encourage your friends and family to do the same because freeloaders are going to be the first to starve.

I firmly believe, and stories like this reinforce it, that one day those on the food stamps are going to be crowded around trucks fighting over bags of rice, much like you see with UN trucks in African nations.
