Say What?
LTC Lakin goes to Leavenworth, and this guy gets an honorable discharge?

This guy’s discharge was already in the works. He just decided to go AWOL right before it was final.

Like I said, the chance of court martial in this case was about nil.
And like I said, his opinion about Obama was not going to be a factor. There is not going to be a future that you depicted of SSgt Moran breaking big rocks into little rocks.
BTW, “curiosity” got the zot.

Is it possible that the guy was near re-enlistment and this was all a put on, that he simply didn’t re-enlist or was refused re-enlistment? I have no idea. Just asking.

In the first sixty two words of your post you never get past “honorably discharged from the United States Air Force.” You repeat your title three times without ever getting to the story. You are a bad blogger.

I never thought I'd see the day our Country would be torn apart like this. The government is Washington D.C. is a miserable failure. Things like this should never be allowed to happen. The people of the world no longer respect us. They are laughing at us.
Obama is destroying American exceptionalism. Just like he planned!!

I don't buy that the SSgt. wasn't prosecuted because he was "on his way out anyhow".
My take on it is that the Commandante-in-Chief is in full campaign mode right now and doesn't need any more military birther headlines...so there won't be any!

He said he tried to resign several times from the Air Force, but his first sergeant wouldnt allow it. I don't think that Air Force regs would allow it. Enlisted aren't permitted to resign during their hitch.
