Immigration advocates in Texas were heartened last year when the Republican governor, Rick Perry, flatly stated that Arizona's crackdown on illegal immigrants "would not be the right direction for Texas."

Whore!
I disagree that enforcing immigration laws is inherently a right wing issue. Plenty of lefty union types don’t like open borders either.
Hardly, that Norm Adams lives 5 mins. from me and is the number one obstructionist to Texas citizens getting immigration ENFORCEMENT. He gets money from somewhere and thwarts us on public safety. This machine in TX. has infected Republican politics.
Please view my video that puts the names and faces together. Perry is financed through this political machine which is why he will not talk specifics and is fence-riding. Another reason to vote for Sara.

“Immigration advocates” translated from libspeak means illegal alien apologists
Mother jones
LA Times
And the AP
I’m glad that the news organizations are coming to aid Ricardo. I imagine MSNBC and Huffington post are still writing their glowing reviews.
Plenty of lefty union types dont like open borders either.
... and yet those same unions keep putting people in office that do like open borders.
Go figure ... it’s like the rank & file members that pay dues out of every check have no say in what the union bosses do with that money.
This very issue divided, the party and got that Kenyan Punk elected.
Have you got Sara in the drivers seat here?
Of course he did.
Put Herman Cain at the bottom-right and I’ll join ya...
ROFLMBO
He also thinks charging illegals regular tuition that other Americans have to pay is “punishing” illegals.
Nothing conservative about that
It’s Sarah - with an “h”. Please get used to spelling her name right - just in case!
Face up to it, FReepers. There is absolutely NO WAY these candidates are going to do anything different with illegals than in the past. They are all talk - all of them. Twenty yrs from now we will be the old Yugoslavia.
It is lefty spin to attach the label “right” to the position that supports legal immigration. If you call something right, lot’s of Americans will automatically oppose it without a second thought.
good post.
remember John McCain in 2010?
after being so “moderate” and nice to Obama,
suddenly he moved to the right,
and “became” very conservative.
then, after reelection, he return to being Obama’s best buddy, and even saying the War Powers Act was unconstitutional.
i want a candidate, who doesn’t flip flop like Romney.
a candidate is doesn’t have to “MOVE TO THE RIGHT”.
i want someone is IS the right. a Tea Party type,
like Colonel Allen West, or DeMint.
someone i KNOW will cut spending, fight the establishment big government types of BOTH parties, SECURE THE BORDER,
and admit Islam is NOT the “religion of peace”, and that Sharia law is evil.
(sure, no candidate is perfect. but anyone who still believes Islam is misunderstood, and it’s really peaceful, is an idiot.)
To the LA Times, that qualifies as "moving to the right."
Thanks for setting me straight.
