Beware the tea party, Jesse Jackson, Frederica Wilson and black Democrats say at jobs meeting

Democratic members of the Congressional Black Caucus are in Miami Tuesday to host a jobs fair, part of their five-city tour to draw attention to high unemployment, particularly in the black community.

But at a town-hall style meeting the members held Monday night, some of the most heated talk centered not on jobs but on the tea party.

"The real enemy is the tea party –- let's remember that," said Rep. Frederica Wilson of Miami Gardens, host of the meeting and jobs fair. "The tea party holds Congress hostage…They have one goal in mind, and that's to make President Obama a one-term president."

Dr King fought a TEA Party? No, Dr, King LED the TEA Party of his day.

You’re right. I was blessed with being able to hear Dr. King give his “I have a Dream’ speech in Chicago several months after he had given it in DC. The Chicago speech was better - he took the one section - the Dream section - and expanded it to the whole speech. At one point I realized I was tearing - then looked around and saw that most of the other people there were crying too. It was the most amazing speech I’ve ever heard. He would later start falling for more of the liberal stuff, but hadn’t gone totally over at that time. Dr. King was a Republican ...

Just saw on the running graphics on Fox that Jackson said the the Tea Party was just a new name for an old game- that Martin Luther King fought the Tea Party.
