One of the first detailed discussions I got into on FR was, of course, about Islam (in 2004). I specifically remember Alamo-Girl responding to me about thought crime, even when posting on a PC, via webcam signals. While this concept doesn’t exactly apply here, from a political standpoint, we’re already there. Hasn’t taken too long.
Now, with the installation of (the now invented) retinal detector technologies, our expressions when in public may lead to being detained/arrested. I wonder if that will apply to the controversial subject here or just to political dissent and inclination to physical violence.
Who knows?
If TSHTF, I figure I’ll be so busy growing food in the back yard that I won’t have time for criminal thoughts. Potatoes, I suppose, just like my old folks back in Ireland ...
