YNet reports that we were a lot closer to war last weekend than most Israelis realize. The war book is ready.
When Defense Minister Ehud Barak arrived at the Defense Ministry Headquarters meeting room last Saturday, a thick war book titled Operation South was already awaiting his approval on his desk. In those hours, Israel was on the verge of embarking on war in the Gaza Strip.
The book did not pertain to a limited operation. The selected targets would have certainly prompted a major flare-up, including difficult regional implications. Just like in Operation Cast Lead, the political leadership granted immunity to no one in the Strip, regardless of his position or stature.
The detailed plans the targets, scope, power and timing would have left Hamas no breathing space and time to debate its response. It would have gone for the jackpot, right away. Indeed, Israels war plan included preparations for massive rocket fire from Gaza, including long-range missiles aimed at central Israel in general, and at Tel Aviv in particular.

For the last 10 years it seems as if something has been set in motion, and it seems to be accelerating as if planned. I know there is a large number of Freepers who dont believe in end-time prophecy, but that is the only rational way I can explain what I feel is happening. This future war, bigger than all the other middle east wars put together cant be stopped, and the fuse is lit.
You are exactly right.
It’s true.
Just an idea.
Go first. Go massive. Strike their offensive capability first. Then destroy their defense. Keep attacking until they surrender.
You get that feeling too, that things are being moved slowly in place and have been for a long time? I have been feeling it for so long that I think that this year is the last year of ‘preparation,’ that this January, what has been meant to happen is going to start happening. It’s all going to start moving with God putting the final chess pieces in place before the beginning of a very huge, very cosmic ‘game.’
If you guys don’t mind my saying, Israel’s continued existence is sheer, irrefutable proof that God does exist. There is no other logical explanation for the continued existence of Israel at all and there is no other way really that Israel has continued to survive. Why the Arabs want Israel exterminated is entirely beyond me really.
Fear of what what would look like, more smoking craters on Israeli lands?
The ONLY thing Israel could do to look good to the UN would be to march into the sea.
You are correct. This has been planned for many decades.
The only way it can be stopped is if Israel surrenders, which won’t happen.
Israel knows that our muslim-loving POtuS will NOT come to their aid, so they will enact the ‘Sampson Option’, thus ensuring the end of their country and the death of millions of innocent civilians.
Pray for Israel.
I’ve been watching this stuff for over thirty years and whilst I can’t comment on the timing you mention I can say that the possibility of all out war with the Arab countries and Israel has never been higher. We are almost certainly in the end game and Israel will not hesitate if it feels itself under the possibilty of invasion.
Look for Syria to either fall to the Arab Spring or to start making noises towards Israel to solidify it’s Muslim ranking! Beware the Assyrian!

GET SOME!
Proof Satan exists.
The detailed plans -- the targets, scope, power and timing -- would have left Hamas no breathing space and time to debate its response. It would have gone for the jackpot, right away.
Yes, there would be no Satan without God. It’s like when there is irrefutable proof that the Devil exists, then it turns out that God without a doubt does. Evil cannot exist without good and good cannot exist without evil.
