Agreed and since the Golf Channel is now wholly owned by NBC, hes prospects there won’t be much better.

Didn't Kenny Mayne tweet he was going to crash into a car that had a Palin Sticker but didn't because he thought it might have children in the car.

KM was mean spirited. PA was offering good political humor.

PA offered nothing but facts. I guess that’s taboo now. Give the *wrong* facts and you will be silenced. That’s where we’re at.

Ever since they kicked Limbaugh out for suggesting McNabb was being over-rated simply because he was black, I’ve been dissapointed in ESPN. ESPN goes so “big” when two black coaches are in the Super Bowl or when two black QB’s are in a championship game. It makes you wonder why they get a ‘flop-sweat’ when someone suggests it’s being over-blown because of the race issue. Certainly the other side of the coin is worth a ‘look-see’ as well. We’re all adults, right? Limbaugh found out otherwise.

This Azinger thing is similar. He made a snarky joke about the President. Big deal. We hear snarky jokes all the time about the GOP. Maybe one day anyone who’s conservative will have to talk in whispers so the ‘thought police’ don’t overhear him or her.

Nothing is more debilitating to a society than ‘one-party’ rule. When either the political left or political right starts to dominate or stiffle opposition talk, the entire country gets of of whack. The political left has really got to grow up and allow some room for the Limbaughs and Azingers of the world to speak their mind without acting like they just dropped and “F-bomb’ in church.

By the way, McNabb was over-rated in my opinion and it might have because he was black...or not. I’m not saying it’s true but, I am saying it’s certainly worth debating.....except on ESPN.

I take exception to this reasoning. It sounds oh so tolerant but just serves to give cover to evil. Extremism on the left violates our basic rights of free conscience and free association. Extremism on the the right defends these rights. I can stand a little conservative extremism right about now...

Not surprising. It's open season on Tim Tebow at ESPN. The conclusions are obvious.

ESPN has taken a hard turn left ever since the whole Rush/McNabb thing.

Not only that, but if you are white, you have to be a foot shuffeling, self hating racial diversity whitey, too. You have to be willing to racially debase and discriminate against other whites.

I get your point to be sure but, the politcal right has its extremes, too. Extremism from the right is not; however, asking for balanced budgets and protecting the constitution. Those are simply principals.

Extremism from the right side of the aisle includes strong religous views (to the point where no alternative can be accepted) and blatent sexism as well as racism. A conservative believes in some sort of social safety net as long as it doesn’t become a hammock and/or a ponzy scheme like our current policies have become. An extreme right winger doesn’t even believe in the safety net to begin with.
