Same could be said for Bachmann, why only the concern for Ron Paul?
You are aware that Ron Paul isn’t the only congressman in this position?
That’s what struck me as odd about it. I can’t imagine Bachmann or McCotter asking the same question without mentioning the other congress candidates.
If Ron had a pair he would go the debate. Big if.

First off, recognize that Bonehead does not care one whit about either Backman or Paul. That said, if he had any nads, he would write his majesty the following note:
Dear Mr. President,
I see you are asking for a joint meeting with Congress at 8PM on September 7th. Unfortunately, two of my esteemed members are not able to be here at that time due to a prior commitment. I am sure you can understand how sometimes one cannot put off vacations, political fundrazing, or other public speaking events simply to be present for what is a speech that could be given at another time. Surely it is not so urgent it requires it be given at precisely that date and time.
Accordingly, I am offering two alternatives. Please schedule your speech for another day or if another date is not available and this is indeed something that must be addressed on September 7th, I will ensure all my collegues are in attendance at 9AM to hear your proposals.

Speaker of the House John Boehner sent a letter back to President Obama regarding the president’s request for a joint session of Congress on September 7. However, Mr. Boehner told the president that the date would not be available and proposed September 8 instead. Below is an excerpt of the letter:
“LOL! Thanks, I needed the laugh. I didn’t realize you were a comedian. Keep up the good work!”
Are you kidding me??? Do you folks think that any sane, objective, reasonable, down-to-earth person is going to watch this freak show that POTUS Obama will present to the American people and voters. Oh, yes, Obama will get his Obamabots to watch, but....that is about it. The Pubbies and MSNBC should continue forward with their plans to debate on that day!!! Obama has bigger problems brewing then Jobs and the economy. He has single handedly turned the entire Middle East over to “his” Muslim Brotherhood” cronies, while making sure that his personal soul brother, Gaddafi goes on in royal splendor and style (Of course with back door help & aid from Jeremiah Wright, Louie Farrakhan, Bill Ayres, Valerie Jarrett, Van Jones, etc.). The Democrat Party has lots to worry and fret about, including the survival of the party itself!!! With each passing day, the American People learn the POTUS Barack Hussein Obama is nothing but a die hard African Muslim in his heart and soul!!! He is not for any American, whether they are White, Black, Hispanic, Asian, Indian or other!!!
