NFL.com article about Obama speech clash receives more than 1,000 comments, but you can't view them

Hmm. I viewed many of the comments earlier and they weren't so flattering toward the One. I wonder just who at the WH was reading the "flattering" comments and decided to call NFL.com because now they're closed and not viewable.

You can see the number of comments left in the Most Commented tab. Still #2 as of this writing.

UPDATE: Now the most commented tab is now scrubbed free and you'd never know there was any interest in the article.

UPDATE II: You can find the cached page with only three comments here.

Reminds one of Stalin's practice of airbrushing his former associates out of photos after they were either killed or sent to the Gulags. 1984 is just too cliche'.

Looks like The Won is about as popular as toe fungus.

Yep and the funny thing is that we're talking about football fans, many of them tend to be apolitical.

It’s even more amazing when you consider he got it from the LA Times. Talk about liberal. It’s not in the same league as San Fransisco or Seattle, but it’s hardly a conservative hotbed.

I second that! :D

Wow. Great work there.

Please don't reply. I know you probably have hand cramps from that.

No kidding?

Well....no offense to you, Henry, but, even though I am not pro-O, it’s pretty sad to know that there ARE multitudes of sheeple...who prioritize the idolatry of sports, rather than be vigilant of those leading them to their potential slaughter.

God help us all.

Hate to sound like the wet blanket, but I think the LA Times is one of the “not to exceed 250 words” sites.
