Obama's Creepy Agency Creep
American Thinker ^ | September 2, 2011 | Keith Riler

President Obama has enlarged and shaped the missions of agencies across the federal government to his own purposes, in pursuit of the "fundamental change" he promised voters. The resulting agency creep is creeping me out.

Totalitarians have a history of recasting representative governments into reflections of their own personal madness. Whether in the case of Communists, Fascists, or modern liberals, day-to-day government is retooled into an incarnation of their dear leader's obsessions and justified by a vain and unsupportable assertion of higher intelligence.

This time is no different, as is demonstrated by the multiple cases of agency creep we are witnessing in the executive branch. We have recently been treated to internationalist game wardens, eco-warrior accountants, interfaith astronauts, and politicking professors. These contradictions indicate the disjointed fit between the nation and President Obama. Why is the US Wildlife and Fisheries raiding Gibson Guitar, the SEC examining hydraulic fracturing fluids, NASA seeking to build bridges with Muslims, and the Department of Education attacking Rick Perry?

I grew up believing our Constitution protected us from rulers like Obama. I no longer believe that.

Where are all the ‘watchdog’ organizations to stop this cr*p? I find it unbelievable that in this ‘Nation of Laws’ these things are happening, seemingly unchallenged by watchdogs and other government bodies alike. Nation of Laws - baloney! More like Banana Republic.

The signs were all there that America haters---Barack and Michelle----were going to upend the Constitution by executive fiat.

MICHELLE ON THE CAMPAIGN TRAIL: " Barack Obama is going to demand that you move out of your comfort zones." And on Thursday, November 1st, 2007, Michelle Obama made this startling comment, "We've got to make sure that people who have more money help the people who have less money."

(Snort) Obama and his wife Michelle see eye-to-eye with Karl Marx on income redistribution.

==============================================

REFERENCE Michelle's Princeton thesis entitled "Princeton-Educated Blacks and the Black Community" and written under her maiden name, Michelle LaVaughn Robinson, in 1985, has been the subject of much conjecture on the blogosphere and elsewhere, b/c it was "temporarily withdrawn" from Princeton’s library until after the presidential election. Critics, who have read the thesis, say it is the most sophomoric, non-scholarly piece of drivel ever and claim it exposes the lack of academic rigor at Princeton, even over 20 years ago.

EXCERPT "My experiences at Princeton have made me far more aware of my 'blackness' than ever before," the future Mrs. Obama wrote in her thesis introduction. "I have found that at Princeton, no matter how liberal and open-minded some of my white professors and classmates try to be toward me, I sometimes feel like a visitor on campus; as if I really don’t belong. Regardless of the circumstances under which I interact with whites at Princeton, it often seems as if, to them, I will always be black first and a student second. "

"[My experience] will likely lead to my further integration and/or assimilation into a White cultural and social structure that will only allow me to remain on the periphery of society; never becoming a full participant. It is possible that Black individuals either chose to or felt pressured to come together . . . because of the belief that Blacks must join in solidarity to combat a White oppressor."

=======================================

She never changes----still a depressing specimen of the post-modern "perpetual victim" class even as First Lady -- demanding, whining, self-absorbed, self-pitying, and infantile.

Okay, I admit it. I’m old. I saw creep in a presidential reference, thought CREEP and Tricky Dicky.

As businessinsider.com posted in response to Obama's emailing supporters WRT his vaunted "frustration" with Congress:

“He wants too much, demands, and bullies too much, but acts like this calm and cool and collected guy who is above everyone and above 'the fray.' He's totally inexperienced at both negotiating anything, and then leading by example."

"He needs to get in a mind-set that entirely makes the republicans look like they are winning, while getting progress for the American people. It need not be his vision or ideology of progress, but clear wins. "

"Clinton was an expert at this or became much more so in his second term. That way you don't have to go out bragging to claim credit, as people will see through the rhetoric, and he could blow out any chances the Repub’s may have of actually dictating an agenda and stonewalling the entire Congress from getting anything done."

"See, while people can blame the Repub’s for several years of nothingness, the problem is...... Obama as the leader, and POTUS......still can't figure out how to get win’s, that make Republicans look good. Its the same problem with Pelosi and Reid. They are too egotistical and too selfish and constantly just want to blame Repub’s and bash them or get into the trap of arguing. “

No news here. What will be news is how potential job seekers will deal with it. The current MO is to limit reform to talk. My feeling is the announced republicans will let them remain despite furious yapping. I how NO confidence in the current crop from the GOP. Sure wished a true conservative outside of the main stream would run and win. Rather than talking about making new laws the cockroaches in DC should be thinking about repealing reams and reams of them and decommissioning several of the too many govt agencies while they’re at it. This would make a good start...but none of the insiders would ever do that. Downsizing govt to its Constitutional limits is unthinkable.

It is the goal of Liberals to systematically diminish the role and voice of voters in the American representative system.

“O” is their most recent and energetic agent in this campaign. It is also why they wanted a minority candidate last time around… so any objection to radical changes can be dismissed as ‘racist’. “O” was bought and paid for, for NO OTHER reason. He is kind of like a Monopoly Board piece that is moved one way or another... but is nothing in itself.

As it is, we are only ‘permitted the illusion of self-government’.

'Obama's Creepy Agency Creep'
Besides Barry's 'Agency Creep', Barry's turning some Agencies downright CREEPY. It's one thing to have US Wildlife and Fisheries raid Gibson Guitar over 'illegal wood' and seize the wood Gibson has and hand out fines. But when Barry has the Dept of Education Buying 27 Combat Shotguns, Houston, we have a problem.
Solicitation Number: EDOOIG-10-000004
Synopsis: Added: Mar 08, 2010 10:39 am Modified: Mar 11, 2010 10:16

The U.S. Department of Education(ED) intends to purchase twenty-seven (27) REMINGTON BRAND MODEL 870 POLICE 12/14P MOD GRWC XS4 KXCS SF. RAMAC #24587 GAUGE: 12 BARREL: 14" - PARKERIZED CHOKE: MODIFIED SIGHTS: GHOST RING REAR WILSON COMBAT; FRONT - XS CONTOUR BEAD SIGHT STOCK: KNOXX REDUCE RECOIL ADJUSTABLE STOCK FORE-END: SPEEDFEED SPORT-SOLID - 14" LOP are designated as the only shotguns authorized for ED based on compatibility with ED existing shotgun inventory, certified armor and combat training and protocol, maintenance, and parts.

The required date of delivery is March 22, 2010.

Now first off what the hell is the DOE going to do with Combat Shotguns? Secondly, why the heck do they have an existing inventory of Combat Shotguns?

This is taking 'No Child Left Behind' a little to far, "Get an 'A' Jose or we'll blow your head off!"
And if it's to round up Gang-banging Truants, 27 Shotguns won't be enough. (/s)
