Star Trek - Next Generation Scene
Sokol

Posted on 09/05/2011 11:26:22 AM PDT by Sokol

I am looking for a scene in one of the Star Trek (Next Generation) episodes. The scene has members of the crew going to the Doctor's (I think - maybe another character) room to look for a strand of hair to use to replicate her DNA. She is not on the ship and something has happened to the transporter. I can't remember all the details. I teach forensic science and want to use this for my class. If you know which episode, please let me know. Thanks for any help.

Getting to hear Martin Landau talk at a panel and a couple of minutes at his table was a real treat.

I'd like to hear his thoughts on the "Space:2099" project.

LOL!

I was ok with "voyager" but the blatant sexual "doggy bone" they tossed in by booting the "keebler elf" in favor of "skinny, no personality and...bolts" was kind of an insult. It was like they decided ST fans could do without a plot if they had some space ta-tas to gaze upon.

Didn't work for me at all. ST "Enterprise" suffered even worse with the "hot vulcan" thing and even got canceled after fans walked following the first two seasons.

Don't mind the occasional "red meat" in the way of "heavenly bodies", but we want a good story along the lines of the original theme or it just doesn't work.

It may have come up in the panel I missed the day before due to the wife getting caught up in the Wil Wheaton experience. She was getting an autograph for a friend but the line was unreal.

"He cloned the wrong person, in my humble opinion."

7of9 is why 0bama is President. Her divorce caused 0bama to win his Senate seat in 2004.

>>> I think Jeri Ryan is highly overrated as hot...

Before her tour of duty with Starfleet, Ryan co-starred in a pretty good but failed sci-fi series called Dark Skies. Without the Wonderbra and other rubber-suit padding, she was a much more attractive person.

If in an alternate universe, she had married an actor instead of Gov Ryan, would Obama be TOTUS?

I absolutely hated season two because of Roddenberry’s shenanigans to put yet another of his old flames back to work. And it didn’t work, Muldaur had to go, and McFadden brought back. It’s actually too bad that GM didn’t find another steady gig in the interim.

It’s also too bad that her absence wasn’t used as a good reason to get rid of Wesley.

Now, back to fake real life of this online forum...

I hated the Data character!!!!!!!!!!
Seems that Star Fleet had such low personnel security standards that a 2 legged MAC could just saunter in and not only enlist in Star Fleet but get a commission.

Kirk would have told him to sit in the corner and disassemble himself!
