Palin picked up voters over her prior high but Perry outpaced those gains by a large margin.

Okay, this is getting serious. Time to start cranking up the spin machine and kneecap Perry before he gets too far ahead of Palin

Oh, and by the way, this poll is just cooked to look bad for Palin, because Hot Air has Palin Derangement Syndrome.

I read over there Palin kept her voters but 3000 more voted than last poll. I wish I could post over there. Only thing they really over do Bambi. I counted 9 pics of him the other day. It’s hard to read with my eyes closed.

Palin, however, hasn’t declared her candidacy. It’s just not fair!

How reliable has this poll proven to be in the past?

Nevertheless, the results seem to more accurately reflect my personal opinion of the race. Other polls constantly peg Romney as a frontrunner but even here in Massachusetts, support for him seems lukewarm. Up in New Hampshire over this weekend, Romney's Tea Party appearance was mostly unnoticed while Palin got all the headlines. Romney's 6% seems about right to me.

I've always considered Palin to be the first choice of most Republicans. The fact that she is in second place even before her announcement bodes well for when she does get in.

The people that do this poll have been openly unhappy with Palin winning month after month. No surprise here at all, just as I predicted a couple weeks ago...The fix is in

This actually looks fairly accurate. Perry is the soup du jour, some lustre will come off, and Palin will gain after announcing. Romney slipping to also ran status. It will be a Palin Perry slugfest, which isn’t the worst world to be in.
