It’s supposedly a complaint about human isolation. So the implication would be that if mankind were one happy family this kind of thing (the 9/11 attacks) would never happen. And that hypothetical is true as far as it goes. The bible tells us more, that mankind can’t be one happy family because of sin. The only place that kind of unity will exist again is in heaven.
