The Jews had to fight for Israel. The Palestinians in 2011 don’t have to. Pledge to live in pease with Israel and they’ve got it made. If they want an unnecessary blood bath as the foundation of their national identity would YOU want to live next to them?

If it were a state, and the state hurled rockets at Israel enough, Israel - if it could muster the gumption - could attack it militarily, conquer it and occupy it; the only difference with the current situation would be a continual whine about how “wrong” Israel was for defending itself which could lay claim to the legitimacy of being a state that was attacked, though, of course, the whiners would be lying by omitting the admission of the fact that they were the initiator of the conflict.
Not accepting this false statehood idea, therefore, makes it less of a headache to be in the same situation of being surrounded by “wild and crazy guys” who want to kill people who they can make afraid.
Israel is in an unfortunate situation which is analogous to living next door to a weasel bully when you’re growing up. You can stick your tail between your legs and lie to yourself and try to become a toady, or beat the stuffing out of him and let him know that you would love for him to try something again.
True, wonder if this guy was from the Huff Po or some odd leftist site just to get some elementary school extra credit. When I was in Israel ( my only time) I met some pretty nice arabs content to live in Israel. I also met Israeli's that called israel and "apartheid state." heh, it was a fun trip, sad part is there's probably 75% or more under Hamas and al Fatah rule that want to have nothing to do with war or hate but their forced to put on the mask of hate or catch a bullet.
So I guess the same for Greece and the EU.

Why do homosexuals want to get married? It’s not in their best interest, but undermines marriage well enough for a try. The Israel Anhilation Front (a.k.a. “Palestine”) doesn’t care at all about statehood, but it, they think, would undermine Israel well enough. That’s all about it.
