Heavy Sunday Drinking & Delusional “thinking” again today? There’s a pill for that. How’s that Perry candidacy thing working for you?
You seem to be showing up more and more often on Palin threads, and dumping the same tired PDS talking points on the discussions.
You don’t seem to be contributing anything but derisive statements, which amounts to nothing more than trolling. Don’t think that others aren’t noticing.
My asking that question was "getting all hysterical"?
Strange. She made her fortune after leaving the Governorship. She didn't get rich while in office, unlike another Governor who's currently running.
I know what Fox News has said themselves...repeatedly. If they believe Palin is running for President they will suspend her - just like they did Gingrich and Santorum. It's really not all that complicated. We also know Palin signed a 3 year, 3 million dollar deal paying out 1 million a year through 2012. Again, not complicated or super secret. If Palin decides tomorrow to run for President, all she has to do it say so and Fox will suspend her. That's it. There is no contract holding her back from announcing for President. None.
It's not an organization structure approved by Karl Rove, so it doesn't exist.
Until it kicks Rovian ass, I mean.
You mean half term governor, she bailed halfway through in order to make those millions.
Rovian Ass, I like that, it has a certain ring to it, you know a term of contempt that get’s under their skin, kinda like Republican Establishment..........
As far as most people know, there isn’t any organizing for Palin going on or the magnitude of those efforts. I look forward to the day that smirk is wiped off the Palin detractors faces. Having never seriously investigated the object of their deranged obsession, many of them post out of ignorance. Unfortunately for them, FreeRepublic has recorded their inanities for all time.
Palin has not yet declared her candidacy. Therefore she is not yet a frontrunner. If she announces, that may change.
....As opposed to making millions while in (or because of his) office.
I did. Very interesting premise. Bears consideration, in my view. I’m still totally not decided (as opposed to “undecided” LOL!) about the GOP nominee I will back.
WOW! You’re such a joke.
“....and this is why Palin has the biggest 2012 force in the race right now....”
Very interesting point of view, but phony as a $7 Bill!
Her rare appearances on FNC gain her no unfair traction that I can discern. Greta is the only one who even gives her the time of day. Ted Baxter Oreilly disses her frequently. Try another angle!
If you really want to know, I used to be quite a big supporter of hers - right up through spring or so. After 2008 I even expected her to be a leading conservative standard bearer and possibly be the 2012 GOP nominee. For awhile I even defended things I had mixed feelings about, such as her quitting her job as Governor and doing fluff realityTV.
At some point it began to dawn on me that Palin was making herself a conservative celebrity rather than a serious politician. When I expressed such views I began to realize many of her supporters had fallen into some twisted cult of personality zone in which they did not want to hear even the slightest criticism. No rational discussion of why the path Palin had taken just might not be the best way to become president is allowed around her fanatics. So I begin to view Palin through a new lens and I particularly found her fanatical supporters utterly obnoxious and, I think, disturbingly naive.
Now, I don't think she is running for president - nor do I think she was ever really planning to. Oh, sure, she's left her options open, but I don't think it was ever for real. I think Palin has strung this tease campaign out to keep herself in the spotlight, I think her hit and run bus appearances designed to steal attention from actual candidates was for the same reason - to keep herself relevant. I just don't view her as highly as I once did. I think Palin's dedicated supporters here, on C4P and elsewhere are in for a massive let down when she finally admits she isn't running for President. In fact, I rather suspect at this point she is delaying breaking the bad news to them because of how awful a scene that is going to be. I believe it is going to wake a lot of people up, and I think things are going to get really ugly with a heck of a lot of people feeling very used.
Saying all that, if she runs I will certainly give her a fair chance. If she were to win the nomination I would absolutely vote for and contribute to her effort to beat Hussein. If I am wrong, I will be happy to admit as much. If it turns out I've misjudged her, I will have no problem saying so. But I think I am right, I don't think she is going to run, and I think sometime this month people are going to finally realize she isn't quite what they thought.
