Thanks. :-)
ROTFLMAO! If youre upset about democracy in Iraq and Gaza take it up with Georgie boy! Werent you listening to his second inaugural speech?

I know that you and I do not always see eye-to-eye, but, if you do not mind, I would appreciate your not patting yourself on the back for deftly setting up straw men and knocking them down.
One, I am no fan of how GWBush handled Iraq — more so, Obama.
Two, I have no illusions about “democracy” (something of which I am no fan, as I prefer republics, as I suspect you do as well) flourishing in countries whose Constitutions are rooted in Sharia Law (this would include Afghanistan, Iraq, and the festering dunghill known as “Gaza.”
What I am upset about is that the Bush/Obama Administrations both lacked the backbone to secure an advantageous (to the US, that is) position for the US after sacrificing some 6K men in the effort to bring some measure of stability to that country — and, yes, that would be favorable terms with respect to oil and military basing. I am pro-American, after all. While we can debate all day whether or not we should have entered Iraq in the first place, there is little room for debate that — having entered Iraq — we should have pursued with laser-like intensity an outcome favorable to our country in the LONG RUN — something at which (in my view) we failed miserably.
Erratum:
One, I am no fan of how GWBush handled Iraq more so, Obama.
Should have read:
One, I am no fan of how GWBush handled Iraq less so, Obama.
