@anonymous - While on the subject of fathers pulling strings, why don't you mention the one about the father that had his son -( who was serving in the Navy in during WWII ) transferred to a desk job in South Carolina to avoid being discharged from the Navy and possibly criminally charged with sleeping with a Nazi agent ( Inga Arvad ) while he was an ensign working in the US Navy's Office of Naval Intelligence.
