We had him killed so Hussein obama’s sharia law buddies could take over. The Law of Unintended Consequences will determine the final outcome.

I've got a real bad feeling about all this. From allying ourselves with islamics to our media's victory dance at the murder of the leader of another country, the presidents entire foreign policy reeks like a three day old corpse.

This man is soiling everything he touches.

Guys, let’s not give Obama to much credit here. Remember, this all began with a spontaneous rebellion in Benghazi that swept over the country. So far as I’m aware there is no Muslim Brotherhood or Al Q. presence in Libya. Michael Totten on Pajamas Media made it clear that even in Egypt the Muslim Brotherhood was a witness to events, not an instigator.

Obama would have preferred never to have been involved but Daffy had gained the upper hand early on and was grinding the rebels down. Obama was desperately looking to the UN and the Arab League to give him cover for an action. Nobody wanted to be fingered for any responsibility for the massacre which was about to unfold when the blood-maddened Daffy retook Benghazi. Finally he could wait no longer and led with his behind (or whatever the strategy is called). Yeah, Daffy could have been taken out far more easily than he was. The rhetorical knots Obama and the Euros twisted themselves into trying to justify this non-intervention intervention were ludicrous. I wonder how long it will be before we get the full story and details as to the extent of the bombing and how it was stage-managed. Nevertheless, the rebels would have been toast without it.

I have even heard opinions to the effect that this long drawn-out campaign has been beneficial to the extent that the National Transitional Council and the rebel militia has had time to develop and find their footing as an organization with a unified purpose.

It remains to be seen whether or not they come together as a country or splinter on ethnic and tribal lines over disbursement of the oil schwag. But I’m not going to automatically assume the worst. They are in much better shape than Egypt—which is going to be in the grips of Bangaladeshi-magnitude famine within a year or so. Being that they import so much of their food and they are about to run out of money to pay for it.
