Timing is everything. Qaddafi was not killed in retaliation for his attacks on American servicemen in Berlin in 1986, or the downing of Pan Am 103 over Lockerbie in 1989. He was not killed for his central role in the USSR's terror networks going back to the 1960s and 1970s. He was killed after coming over to our side of George Bush's "war on terror" in the final phase of a civil war in Libya in which his regime fought al Qaeda affiliates.
Horrific as it sounds, Qaddafi was killed because we and our NATO allies joined the other side -- the al Qaeda affiliates.

“Who is next” is exactly right. With Obama and his Arab spring, we basically succeeded in making Egypt and Libya into one seamless swath of muslim brotherhood/al qaeda israel hatred.
Former Libyan artillery is now up on the egyptian border of gaza to protect the palestinans,, 20,000 handheld shoulder fired missiles are gone, the Egyptian border to Gaza is now open, Iranian warships are siling through the Suez canal.
Christians are murdered in the street in Egypt, and it’s a safe bet the new “democracy” in Libya won’t be inviting former Libyan Jews to return.
All Obama has done is replace a few marginally pragmatic MINO* strongmen with full-on muslim sharia radicals.
(MINO*- a new name invented by me (patent pending) meaning muslim in name only,,, See “Mubarak” and “Kaddaffi” as examples of backsliding strongman muslim leaders who occaisionally cracked heads on the zealots and did not seek any new wars with israel. They are easily identified because our Saudi and Pakistani president is always aligned against them because the do not seek to wipe out Israel)
