Today, millions of smart, hard working Americans are flipping burgers, waiting tables or working dead end retail jobs not because they want to, but because they have no other options. According to the U.S. Bureau of Labor Statistics, about 14 million Americans are currently unemployed and another 9.3 million Americans are currently "underemployed".

So then what do you want?
So far all I see is “It’s hard”!
No kidding, Sherlock! There, I acknowledged your pain.
Now what do you do, because looking for anything from society other than a hug is not doing jack for you.
It has become more than irritating listening to adults act like they live in the land of no chance but are on FR being critical of the left that WANTS people to behave like that.
So you have a choice: Stop acting like a drama queen and figure out a plan like people have had to do forever, or go to DU and go find a OWS protest, because some of us will not agree that you suck just because you’ve given up.
Yawn. You made the claim, give specifics.
He thinks a bank with a $100 deposit can make a $900 loan.
With a 10% reserve requirement, a $100 deposit allows a $90 loan. That's a bit less than his claim of $900.
Sorry... I work in the generic drug manufacturing industry, which doesn't look like the rest of the economy just now. The company I work for really does promote good employees. In fact, the whole industry is kind of desperate for smart, hard-working people just now.
Pharmaceuticals are somewhat insulated from off-shoring by the US regulatory environment, and even as the rest of the economy goes south people are still getting older and needing their meds. So if you can get an opening in the pharmaceutical industry right now, you can do well.
Have a bachelor's if you want to get past the level of lead operator, and be able to show up on time and be willing to work regardless. Do these things, and pharma will put you to work.
Did you see his reasoning?
What about this one?
He thinks banks don't want you to repay the loan.
How silly. This is the kind of thinking that "opened your eyes"?
He thinks loans have zero risk for the banks, because they created money out of nothing.
Is that why we needed TARP? Because loans have zero risk? Why are the banks in Europe damaged by a Greek default, loans have zero risk. LOL!
I'd love to see you tell a room full of the unemployed who've lost it all, their a bunch of queers and dumbasses.
I'd pay good money to watch that.
Uh no, the last place I'd want to work is for same big corp...I'd rather mow lawns to be honest. A word of advise to you is they will eventually off shore the majority of all big pharma biz. Bet the rent.
Good luck making the mortgage payment doing that; but hey, it's your call. Ya pays your money and ya takes your choice.
In addition, as the old generation with good health insurance dies off, the new generations coming up, will have little or no health insurance.
Compared with today, the number of the elderly in the future forming a conga-line for big pharm drugs will drop off dramatically. The pill business in the next 20 years will sharply decline, simply because most people will not have insurance, or will simply lack insurance needed for expensive medications.
This will be another the reason your big pharma will being off-shoring more and more biz to cheap labor land. It will happen and is happening now.
Yeah, I'm just a puppet of big government, that's me. :D
But my point was really this:
As the old generation with good health insurance dies off, the new generations coming up, will have little or no health insurance.
Compared with today, the number of the elderly in the future forming a conga-line for big pharma drugs will drop off dramatically.
The pill business in the next 20 years will sharply decline, simply because most people will not have insurance, or will simply lack insurance needed for expensive medications.
It's coming, ya heard it here first.
Most of what I help make costs $4 a month at the Wal-Mart pharmacy.
Oh I see, so you’re suggesting medications are really cheap for the millions without insurance or with near useless insurance.
Right...
Compared with today, the number of the elderly in the future forming a conga-line for big pharma drugs will drop off dramatically.
The pill business in the next 20 years will sharply decline, simply because most people will not have insurance, or will simply lack insurance needed for expensive medications.
One other thing you seem to be forgetting, in the future, as more and more people find themselves with no health insurance or near useless insurance, they will not be going to the doctor, simply because they cannot afford it. That means they wont be forming a conga-line to get their prescriptions, like what you see today with the elderly who are still insured.
Furthermore, as more Americans lose their jobs, cut hours, have their health benefits slashed or completely eliminated, these trends will escalate dramatically.
As you like. You’re welcome to think me full of donkey dung if you prefer... I don’t mind.
Youre part of big pharma..
Thought this article below might be of interest to you..
BTW, big pharma and their co-conspirators in the medical field have nearly half the population strung out on their drugs. Big pharma has an army of people, bringing in tons of drug samples into doctors offices all over the country, always accompanied by treats, presents, lunches, coffee etc...
Its nothing by legalized drug dealers.
