Newt has outperformed everyone in the debates so far.

Newt is the master debater and any one of the candidates would lose IMO.

Is Cain going for broke possibly (VP slot)?

I've had serious doubts about Newt for a long time, but he's impressed me a lot lately and I wouldn't be surprised if he got the nomination.

Cain appears to be the frontrunner now, but I don't see him going the distance. I think he's going for broke on this and he will probably win the nomination if he pulls it off, I just don't see that happening.

The real loser in this debate will probably be Perry.

Cain doesn’t have to win the debate. The opportunity to get up on stage alone with another serious man full of great ideas and have a debate that features depth and not sound bites will only help Cain (and Newt). If we voters take this seriously, it gives notice to the sound bite media that we are past “Hope and Change” and into “Good Plans and Intelligent Ideas”.
