Our Republic was founded by men who cherished Life and Liberty. Powell, like all other leftists, has little respect for our Founders, our Constitution, and limited government.
Powell and others on the left are in the process of utterly destroying our Republic. If terrible times arrive in our future it will be because of the evil left.

Depends on who's writing the history. If there's any justice, in 100 years he'll be known for his idiotic Pottery Barn Doctrine that directly resulted in a quarter million Shiite Iraqi deaths, a decade Saddam Hussein's terrorism and a needless ten year war to clean up the mess he left behind. He should also be known as the man who stabbed his good moderate war-hero buddy in the back to endorse the most destructive POTUS in U.S. history.
