Colin Powell says the Occupy Wall Street protests are “as American as apple pie,” and political leaders need to do more than just “scream” at the demonstrators.
“Demonstrating like this is as American as apple pie. We’ve been marching up and down and demonstrating throughout our history,” the former secretary of state said on CNN Thursday night.

He lost me when we learned he went whining to 41 about how bad we looked because of the Road to Basra news coverage. 41 pulled the string and the Republican Guard got away when the 24th had them lined up for the kill. Thanks to him, we had to do it again instead of giving the Iraqi people the chance to do it themselves.
Then to add insult to injury, he told Armitage to shut up and he himself kept mum while Fitzpatrick went on a perjury jihad which hamstrung the President at war.

Moved back to California from Germany after 8 years in the military and my new computer didn’t have my FR info (name/password) so I made a new one. Yeah, I do have thick skin. Just something about the way the dogpile looked like it was going to form..I thought I would try and atleast remind that he isn’t a complete enemy. I don’t know. I like the guy lol...Met him in 2003, and thought he seemed pretty warm and sincere.

Powell needs to quit the charade, and just declare himself a Democrat. He’d be a lot more credible then.
