I wrote Friday here at Atlas that "despite the criminal media's attempt to glamorize this vile and destructive Occupy movement, it will inevitably usher in the death of the left's chokehold on the American culture. Since the late sixties America has been held hostage by these tyrants. They have done everything to destroy all that is good and original and righteous in America. We will not go down with them. This is O-merica, where lawlessness, anarchy, antisemitism, rape, sexual attacks, the spread of deadly diseases, and now murder are sanctioned, even hailed."

And now they're stockpiling weapons in Portland. They are itching for a civil war.

Since city Mayor Sam Adams made the announcement that the park would be cleaned on Thursday, officials said they've seen increasingly ominous signs.

I’ve noticed, all of the active “Occupy __________” “organizations” seem to be in leftist controlled cities and states. I haven’t heard of any lasting more than 1 day in a shall issue state.

Portland police believe that some protesters inside the Occupy Portland encampments are building shields and makeshift weapons — including nails hammered into wood — in preparation for when authorities attempt to clear the parks this weekend.

According to the Post, a 75-year-old woman was beaten with a nail-studded wooden plank (ie 2x4) by a homeless man in midtown yesterday evening. Police confirmed the woman was discovered bleeding from the head with bruises all over her body after being attacked by a suspect with a 2-by-4 piece of wood. “I stepped outside and saw a woman laying near a puddle of blood,” said witness Rasheeda Kin, a security guard at a building nearby.

Andre Lineaux, 51, allegedly attacked the woman at East 40th Street near Madison Avenue at around 6:15 p.m. “I was just cleaning up and looking out the window when I noticed a guy was following her down the street,” said witness Carmarino Mendez. “He looked like he was harassing her and yelling at her.” Witnesses say that's when Lineaux starting hitting her with a five-foot, 2-by-4 piece of wood. “I saw him hit her across her face with something and beat her when she fell,” said Mendez.
