Polygamy is mentioned in the Ten Commandments while homosexuality is not...
However there are passages that equates both as condemned by the LORD God of the Christian Bible..

Maybe I’m missing where those verses discuss polygamy. I also missed it in the 10 commandments.
Was David evil for polygamy? Where does God condemn him for it?
That it isn’t the best is shown in the requirements for an elder, but I don’t recall seeing it explicitly and severely condemned like homosexuality.

No. And you cannot show where it does.
It is un-American, and on that basis alone it could be rejected. But homosexuality is treated far more vehemently than polygamy. David and Israel are never condemned for having multiple wives.
I NEVER forget about abortion. I only pray that there is a special circle of Hell for child molesters - living and not yet born.
That said, my reference was to the free practice of religion - not doctrine.

The new Republican Party had a platform against “The Twin Evils: Polygamy and Slavery”
In the 1850s they thought polygamy was unAmerican too...
But more so and more importantly they thought polygamy was unGodly...
This is one of the reasons I will never vote for anyone who openly welcomes Muslims into this country and cozies up to them. Helping break ground for a Mosque in Texas and helping to get Muslim teaching in Texas schools totally eliminates any support from me.

Please do not be dishonest. Polygamy is OFTEN mentioned in the Bible, but the closest thing to condemnation is that an elder should be the husband of ONE wife.
Since there are multiple and severe denunciations of homosexuality, and since polygamy is NOT condemned, I conclude your statement:

Not disputing the propaganda, but they would hardly have said otherwise. Within the next couple years, they tried to force her into other political marriages, which she refused out of loyalty to the deceased Richard and she was sent back to France.
