The Cain threads have been passionate and spirited. Many supporters of Cain here, cheered by the statement from his campaign, that he is continuing in the race, have already sent him more $$$, or promised that they will do so shortly.
I have TWO questions for these people:
2. If you make a contribution, and Cain does drop out in a few days, do you expect that he will return your contribution? Will you feel cheated/disappointed if he doesn't return it? Will you ask for it back?
While I personally think that Cain should, and will drop out of the race, I have always indicated support and admiration for him. And I can relate to those who are passionate about his candidacy, but I'm having trouble grasping why you wouldn't want to wait a few days just to be sure?
1. I’m guessing they’re sending donations to ENCOURAGE Cain to stay in the race.
2. I’ve seen very few national candidates return their donations.
Because it is a tangible way to show our support, and is sends a message to his detractors that he is still in this.
A probable reply... Donations cratering will only precipitate Cain’s withdrawal.
Which comes first? Chicken or the egg?
If we keep supporting Cain then he won’t drop out.
If Cain drops out on his own, we will stop donating.
I guess I'm having trouble grasping why this would bother you.
I guarantee you,if this Bimbo doesn’t take Cain down, there will be another one next week. He has a target painted on his forehead, and they ( who ever that might be) are not going to let up until he is history.
Because his boy Newt wants Cain gone now.
Obama wrecked our best candidate using the Chicago way.
If Cain drops out, it will be a signal to the liberals that they can make up anything about a conservative candidate to drive him out of any race.
What are you going to make up about a liberal in response? “He burns fossil fuels in his spare time. He owns stock in Exxon.” Yeah, how far will that get us?
“These people” sorta condescending isn’t it? Regardless I have always had a tendency to back someone and I am loyal until I know I have been purposely deceived.
I have a question for you; If all these woman came out tomorrow and admitted he had really done nothing and they were part of a conspiracy to frame him, would you feel that the support he has lost is unjust?
I like Mr. Cain, if he is innocent, which I think is very likely, what These People have done to him is outrageous but then again everything they will do can be called outrageous. When winning is your only goal and ethics don’t even come into play one bit, then all we have is shenanigans!
I hereby declare SHENANIGANS!
I am in it for the long haul. If he drops out I will start donating to newt.
What is the law regarding his donations?

If you wait, some other candidate that you don’t like will take advantage of this drop in momentum.
Why should he drop out? Because we allow the press to define who a candidate is? Is there any validity to a lie of this type, anymore than Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas and the farce high tech lynching that was foisted on him?
Cain knows how to market himself— which is a far cry from the wimp butt RINOs who think they should be nominated, and who cannot and will not beat obama. Cain can beat obama, and Cain says what needs to be said about obama, and.... Cain is a real American (a real Black American to the rather large black constituency that can relate to him from many political persuasions). This removes two major objections liberals have to anything negative about obama— it comes from a true black man, and doubly this man is a conservative— which really frosts their cookies.
This is all very clever rovian inside baseball— this “he should drop out” crapola. A lie, is a lie— and this is a modern era of people who can tell what is what, and can tell an idiot bimbette with a lame story (even the morons at the mall and the 24/7 TV watchers). Deo Vindice.
Think about this -
Liberals can rely on one thing, that conservatives have moral standards, while liberals do not.
In the case of Cain, do you not think they would exploit it relentlessly with baseless charges that Cain can only repeatedly deny?
It’s the perfect strategy, unless the liberals are caught.
“I guarantee you,if this Bimbo doesnt take Cain down, there will be another one next week. He has a target painted on his forehead, and they ( who ever that might be) are not going to let up until he is history.”
And if Cain isn’t the frontrunner this week, they’ll just go after the next conservative frontrunner next week. We are all tied together in this.
I have supported a LOT of candidates in the past, some of whom went on and did well, but many more who turned out to be also-rans.
But there is something known as putting your money where your mouth is. Even if the candidate I backed was not the ultimate nominee or the one elected, their very presence in the race shifted the dialogue to where things were a lot more comfortable for me.
While I like him personally, to say that he was "our best candidate" is pretty frightening. I'm hoping our best candidate at least understands Obama's Libya policy or knows what the voting age is.
