Yes, Meghan McCain “said a statement” earlier which was given prominence by the position of her father’s coattails.

I’m glad that Meghan McCain agrees with some of Bachmann’s “foreign policy things.”
MEGHAN MCCAIN: “For me as a Republican woman, character is a big part of how I vote for someone … she answered it very politically and referenced our Founding Fathers.”

I’m glad that candidates can score points with Meghan McCain by answering “politically” and “referencing our Founding Fathers.” Her analysis is mentally on par with a show-and-tell presentation, though age-wise, she is not.
I’m also glad that she sounds as though redemption is important in character, too, especially on the subject of infidelity. It is the story of how her parents met, after all.

Why is this girl’s opinion something anyone feels compelled to note again and again? This is the third or fourth time I’ve seen this on FR. She’s like a blonde Kardashian, as far as I can tell. Famous for being the offspring of someone notable. A Paris Hilton for “our side.” Well, I don’t think I want her. Can we give her away??

Yes, this has really been making the rounds at various sites, and in a way it is warranted, because Meggy here has put on display perhaps one of the most pristine meldings of sheer boneheaded ignorance and self-important arrogance one might ever encounter.
Even MSNBC, with its many inept and freakish qualities, must be embarrassed that they hired this ditz. They obviously did so, knowing Meggy would reliably appear as a so-called “Republican” voice who would come on and take swipes at actual Republicans. Who couldn’t have predicted that one of her very first on-air efforts would include a smarmy slam at Palin? I would have bet my whole bank-account on it.
Which, by the way, is one of Meggy’s more obnoxious traits. Whenever she is confronted with topics beyond her stunted, pop-culture drenched mentality, she tends to fall back on proclaiming herself “the voice of my generation” and takes cheap potshots at older, more experienced leaders and figures, men and women of genuine accomplishment. It makes her look pathetic beyond words.
