Stoichiometric ratio of what, exactly? Of 50 parts air to 1 part fuel? Or 50 parts O2 to 1 part fuel? Wouldn't the stoichiometry depend on the chemical structure of the fuel?
From Wiki: Wiki on alcohol
One liter of ethanol contain 21.1 MJ, a liter of methanol 15.8 MJ and a liter of gasoline approximately 32.6 MJ. In other words, for the same energy content as one liter or one gallon of gasoline, one needs 1.6 liters/gallons of ethanol and 2.1 liters/gallons of methanol. The raw energy-per-volume numbers produce misleading fuel consumption numbers however, because alcohol-fueled engines can be made substantially more energy-efficient. A larger percentage of the energy available in a liter of alcohol fuel can be converted to useful work. This difference in efficiency can partially or totally balance out the energy density difference, depending on the particular engines being compared.
Still waiting for you to tell us what 14-year old Hyundai you own that is capable of pulling a 35-foot boat.
I think I’ll let that eat at you a bit more.
Oh, it’s not eating at me at all—I just think you’re lying.
That's easy, it's a Transformer, Wimptimus2
I figure a 35’ powerboat would weigh somewhere between 10k and 15k pounds, depending on the trailer, tanks, etc. Ain’t NO WAY that a muawiyah’s 1997 Hyundai is going to pull that load. I have a 1/2-ton Suburban and I wouldn’t attempt it with my truck—not safe.
And there you have it ~ the key reason Hyundai (and their subsidiary Kia) have been sweeping the American markets. They pull boats!
Muawiyah, why do you feel compelled to lie? Does it make you feel better? Why don’t you fess up that you don’t pull a 35’ boat and trailer with a ‘97 Hyundai? Whether it’s lithium bicycle frames, titanium master cylinders on Chevies, or dinky little 14-year-old Hyundais pulling Class III loads with aplomb, you are just FULL of things that can’t be true.
Sorry, should have said Class IV or Class V. A boat the size of what muawiyah is describing is bigger than Class III.
Suffer the angst of the true believer dinodino. Suffer.
I think it’s an imaginary boat.
No doubt excellent for carrying around muawiyah’s imaginary friends...
Okay, thanks.
One more question, then. How do you make the sub/superscripts? I’m not very html literate!
So, for subscript you type[sub]2[/sub]. I used []brackets so you could see them in use but for real, you'll need to use the <> ones. Also, you need to turn them off or it can really screw up threads on some websites that don't automatically close the tag.
The / tag is usually how you turn off a tag. Here's how you shut off the sub script ON:[sub], turn off[/sub], again I used brackets instead of the real ones. Here's examples:
According to the glossary, 25 is the correct cite for that term.
In order to express exponents, X2
In order to strike out a word Obama
So here's how to use the sub, super and strike through. Again, I'm using the brackets so you can see them:
[sub]2[/sub]=Subscripts
[sup]25[/sup]=Superscripts
[strike}Obama[/strike]=Strikeouts.
These command don't require shutting off, again, I'm using brackets so you can see them:
[p] For paragraphs.
[br] For lines breaks.
[hr] For a straight horizontal line:
For Italics Bold Red
Here's how you do it:
[i]Italians[/i]
[b]Bold[/b]
[font color]Paisly[/font color]
So, replacing the brackets with the correct character, you get the formatting you wanted.
I would look over this for more commands:
I don't know who all put together FR's various HTML threads but they did a great job; that's where I learned most of them.
Thank you so much! I will be bookmarking this.
Good point.
Thanks.
In my case, the “View Source” function is an oral command. I say to my son, “I want to look at the source code,” he comes over to my computer, and the source code appears. Modern technology is amazing.
His "business" for creating nuclear fussion devices is registered with the Florida Secretary of State as being located in a 5th floor Miami Beach apartment! (ROTFLMFAO!!!)
