We have neighbors who went down to help. He a retired banker, she a liberal gal from a wealthy family. Volunteering for the Red Cross, she encountered a black woman who had three sons all in their 20s living with her. Each one had plasma flat screens in their rooms and all the electronics and flashy sport shoes you could imagine. The living room was filled with leather furniture, a mega flat screen and a 400 gallon salt water aquarium.
When our friend arrived the woman let her have it because their checks were late. She's still a bit soft, but not the liberal she was.
Sounds like a non-physical “mugging” event.
