Stand With Arizona
Prominent Congressman Rep. Steve King (R-IA) is defending Arizona Sheriff Joe Arpaio against Justice Department charges of committing "civil rights violations" against Latinos in Maricopa County.
Thomas Perez, head of the DOJ's Civil Rights Division - and a former board member of Hispanic hate group CASA de Maryland, unexpectedly released the report on December 15. Some observers, including Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu, believe the sudden release of results of the 3+ year investigation was timed to distract from the one-year anniversary of the murder of Border Agent Brian Terry, for which Eric Holder's DOJ was directly culpable, through their disastrous 'Operation Fast and Furious'. 57 Congressional Representatives and one senator have called for Holder's resignation over the bloody debacle.
King rejected allegations that Arpaio has been engaged in racial profiling and carrying out strong-handed patrols along the Arizona border aimed at stopping illegal immigrants. Ive been to visit his operation, King says in the video, adding: There is not a profiling operation that I can see.
King characterized the Justice Department allegations as a political agenda thats working against a man who stands up for the law.
King said that the allegations from departments civil rights division were the latest attempt to destroy Arpaio by the open borders crowd who oppose any and all attempts to secure the border and enforce immigration laws. King singled out La Raza and MALDEF as being among those behind this war on the Sheriff.
I defend Joe Arpaio, King said. I think he needs to continue with the tent city. And I think the Department of Justice should not be using themselves as a tool, a political tool, to push back against people that are working to enforce the law.Thank you Rep. King, for standing with Sheriff Joe and the rule of law!

Steve King is one of the most solid conservatives.
Why not file an injunction against the Department of Justice, on a class action basis?
Ping
Sheriff Joe Bump.
Steve King Bump.
Where are Romney’s supporters backing Arpaio?
Just when you think the DOJ could sink no lower, we get reintroduced to Thomas Perez.
How about head of DHS where he would have a couple agencies whose job is to round up illegals.
Ha! Until he found suitable replacements, he’d be issuing pink underwear for most of the people that worked for him.
To be fair, I shouldn’t have said most. I had the political appointees in mind.
I wonder if Arpaio will issue Thomas Perez pink underwear for his prison uniform?
Nah. Knowing Perez, he probably already has several pair.
"Bighorn County (WY) Sheriff Dave Mattis spoke at a press conference following a recent U.S. District Court decision (Case No. 2:96-cv-099-J (2006)) and announced that all federal officials are forbidden to enter his county without his prior approval . . . ."
The Sheriff is the law not state and not federal LEO.
If Steve King had run for President it would have been a different race. He would have done well in the debates. He handles the press well, he can think on his feet. If no bimbos had erupted, along about now he might be looking very plausible as a candidate.
I am glad he is sticking up for Joe and telling the truth about Holder’s racist operation. Holder is a racist and he has filled the DOJ with thugs dealing guns and money with Mexican drug cartels.
Let him personally give the boot to Butch!
Bump!
