“If youre waiting for the perfect candidate who could actually win to come along, we could all be in shackles and leg-irons sitting in an Obama reeducation camp by the time he or she arrives.”
LOL. Feder nails it.
From both sides now...
I went to hear Gingrich speak back in April. He said something I learned from: every four years we have an election instead of a civil war. When you run a campain for office it’s like going to war.
He knows what he’s in for.
I want a fighter!! I'm sick to death of go-along-to-get-along pussies! :-(
I want Newt not in spite of his warts and flaws, but in many cases because of them!
They did the same thing to Herman, why would anyone think they won’t do it to Newt, or anyone else who may disrupt their little government kingdom?
There aren’t two parties, it’s us versus them, and they are trying to make it haves versus have nots with everyone but them being have nots.
This is what happens when a person gives ANY other person ANY power over them whatsoever.
People are stinking corrupt and greedy, and that is all there is to it.
"The fact is what makes American Exceptionalism different is that we are the only people I know of in history who say, 'Power comes directly from God to you.'" Thus, "You are personally sovereign," and "so you are always a citizen, you are never a subject - which is why Obama regularly misquotes the Declaration of Independence by deliberately leaving out the words endowed by their Creator.

This column is worth bookmarking.
The media is choosing the candidate for the right, and the right falls for it, every. damn. time. The only impression of value is the one that you get from listening to the candidate themselves. Back the candidate you are willing to back and do not worry what other people say about them.
The whole point of the media and the other candidates is to make you second guess your choice, and to steer you just like cattle to where they want you. You can tell who they want to be elected by what you don’t see or hear in the headlines, and right now that appears to be either obama or romney.
I haven’t looked it up, but I am willing to bet that Menken called them “pecksniffs” (after the Dickensian character). Perhaps the writer of this piece is not familiar with the term, but a little research would have been pretty easy.
I think one of the great problems we have in the Republican Party is that we dont encourage you to be nasty. We encourage you to be neat, obedient, faithful and all of those Boy Scout words, which would be great around a campfire but are lousy in politics. - Newt
