What To Expect From The Government After The Collapse
SHTF Plan ^ | Fernando Ferfal Aguirre

After an economic crisis and with a “benevolent” authoritarian figure in charge, you can expect the following:

■Expect Corruption: Maybe in their minds, it’s not even corruption. The high ranking politicians simply do extra-legal “favors” for one another, and perhaps they even believe their own BS speech, that they are doing them for “the greater good.” Or perhaps not. Perhaps they are just greedy, lying crooks from the very start.

It’ll come down to the first person that stands up and shouts, “I’m in charge!”...shoot them.

I’m about to the point of hoping it will hurry the hell up and happen. I’m also about at the point of accepting there’s nothing I can do about it and there’s no way to store away enough to last for as long as the collapse lasts. Therefore, why worry and why bother?

"What to Except From The Government After The Collapse

After an economic crisis and with a “benevolent” authoritarian figure in charge, you can expect the following:

Expect Corruption
Expect Loss of Freedom
Expect Censorship
Expect an Inefficient Legal System
Expect Failing Public Institutions
Expect Crumbling Infrastructure
Expect a Cultural Change (for the worse)
Expect More Extreme Poverty and Shanty Towns
Expect a Smaller Police Force
Expect “Commando” Criminals
Expect Even More Corruption"

I'd hazard a guess of more than half way there.

Besides, the worst the media can do is say it’s a lie.

No. The worst the media can do is keep covering up the truth which they're already doing.

Every great leader (winner) for the most part knew how to win big on the home progoganda front, deserved or no. In a democratic republic as with everywhere else, persuading the “smaller thinkers” to your side is a really big deal (sorry for the big profanity withholding, “Honorable” VP, Biden). The Founders knew this, every bit as well as Marx. Why their sound reading of the human condition didn’t take elsewhere is curious, probably on account of human nature which they all had down and the entrenched forms of government designed to hold people in check.

Wish what we HAD took hold with others since I’m now (as of yesterday) married to an English/French girl whose family (on her Dad’s side) is a GREAT guy from London who strives to be intellectually honest but first embraces the whole English counter-culture/Socialism as the ideal. Intelligent, like his daughter; he loses every argument with me, surely he knows it, has to defend regardless from a hopelessly losing position; and I can’t throw the finishing punch because he’s now my Dad-in-Law. My bride’s French mother is about as conservative as all of us here, aside from the abortion issue. Very ‘unexpected.’

Anyway, I’m back to my old optimist name (here) despite all the happenings. We’re going to win this one despite the “drip, drip” shell game that’s making us all a bit crazy. It’s going to take some time.

That last not directed to you, cripplecreek, just fed up with the vitriol we conservatives have to throw at each other.

Please, though, let’s not shoot at each other when the enemy’s closing in. There’s a lot more at stake here than American politics. Ad hominim, etc. attacks only encourage the enemy of humanity and discourage those of us who want to see good things for the human race.

Hey! That’s my motto! I used to have a drawing of that above my desk, years ago! Just told a good friend on the phone too that today (had sent him a copy of the picture years ago!).

Never give up!!!

Terry Mross - IMHO anyone who doesn’t make an effort to prepare for the Troubles ahead will be very, very, very sorry that they didn’t.

” IMHO anyone who doesn’t make an effort to prepare for the Troubles ahead will be very, very, very sorry that they didn’t. “

As demonstrated during Katrina, all too many of our fellow Americans have ‘evolved’ to the point that they’re incapable of imagining, much less dealing with, a world where there’s no Government to shield them from harm, and tell them what they must do.. Sadly, a fair number of FReepers appears to be in that number...

There will be many deaths among this segment of the population, from sheer comfusion and despair....

really bad scenario

Right, like The Government After The Collapse

Yes, and wouldn't it be nice if that resulted in our getting our Constitutional Republic back with its three limited and distinct branches of government?

I think any prognostication about the aftermath of a collapse involving less than four factions and not involving a bloodbath is desperate wishful thinking that struggles flailingly to fool even one’s own self.

After a collapse, we would be reduced to our local community and ourselves for nearly everything.

Most local governments are as tyrannical as the Fed govts. The EVIL parasite class has infested local, state and the feds.

True justice would demand that the sadistic parasites in government be shown absolutely no mercy. The reason being their actions are the direct cause of misery and death in our Republic. The parasite class will be the cause of our collapse.

The parasite class will fight to prevent a return to Constitutional, limited government.

Why would people let a government that facilitated their collapse [then amplified it in an attempt to escape blame] remain in power?

There, fixed it.
