Playing off his persona as a New Jersey tough guy, Christie issued a mock warning.

"New Jersey's watching you … We're watching you real closely," he said. "And I want to tell you something. I want to tell you something really clearly. I'm in a good mood this morning. I'm feeling happy and upbeat. I'm happy to be with Mitt and Ann. But let me tell ya, if you people disappoint me Tuesday, if you don't do what you're supposed to do on Tuesday for Mitt Romney. I will be back, Jersey-style."

How nice, Christie is threatening mobster politics now. Is this similar to how he was most likely involved in directing Brad Brewster and Lorna O'Hara to start the dismantling of the Herman Cain campaign?

Or does Jersey style mean Christie goes on MTV and starts mouthing off expletives at the other candidates a la Snooki.

He’s joking I’m sure.

He supports Romney, that’s his right.

Let’s keep our sense of humour during this election cycle.

So Christie will start dating Snookie and spend all his time GTL (Gym, Tan, Laundry)?

I heard the audio of his comments and thought them very inappropriate. The implied thug-ism is something we do not need in politics. We already have too much of it from ‘across the aisle’.

What he really meant to say was that he was going to raid their refrigerators if they don’t vote for Romney.

Romney’s entire campaign is like it’s from “across the aisle”.

Saul Alinsky tactics. Media control. An elitist group of self-interested oligarcy.

American interests second, after their own power.

Nothing inconsistent at all. The GOP establishment is almost identical to the democrats.

I’m sure Christie *meant* to be humorous, but seems not to have a grasp on Midwesterners who find nothing funny about the whole NJ/mafia thing and are happy to be 1000 miles away from the Garden State.

I would think that a guy with a name like Santorum would be able to find more goodfellas to take care of business than a guy named Christie.

How do I get on your "No Sense Of Humor" pinglist?

he was most likely involved in directing Brad Brewster and Lorna O'Hara to start the dismantling of the Herman Cain campaign

That's MSNBC-level "reportage" right there.

Just what we need...The Tubby Terminator from Trenton.

Isn't it enough for those of Italian decent to live certain "tings" down?

Oh really?

Lorna was most likely the woman who started the whole sexual harrassment allegations against Herman. She didn’t come forward because she knew the place she worked at (PPAG), along with her boss Brad Brewster (Christy-guy, Political Television guy on CN8 in Philiadelphia and Romney’s New Jersey Campaign co-chair) would show their obvious ties to Romney.

Politico gave just enough information in the description of her for me to identify her. After I sent a note to Jonathan Martin telling him I knew who she was and asked him when they were going to report the “rest of the story”, her bio page removed any mention of her employment at the National Restaurant Association. Fortunately, I’ve got the cached pages.

So yeah, maybe my sense of humor is lacking here, because I see Christie and the people who work around him as a bunch of thugs. But maybe that’s just me.
