LOL!
Makes me want to go to a GM dealership just to try this conversation out
I’ve seen a few volts. Every single one was owned by a government agency.
I have my wife’s Yukon there for service today. To be honest... the dealer knows the truth. The Service Manager and I laughed about this today. They know.

I’d feel much safer in any Corvair (New or used) than a Volt.......
Let us know how it works out?!

I can just see the viral videos - Chevy salesmen baited out to talk to someone about buying a Volt, then surrounded by people who are pointing at them and laughing. Flash mockery mobs.
Agreed...Dealership owners have known the Volt hasn’t been a hot item for individual buyers and are not anxious to stock them, it just costs them money.
LOL! Perfect. Nicely done.
The Corvair was a thoroughly decent car that got bushwacked by Ralph Nader!
The movie theater we most often attend recently installed on the first floor of the parking garage 5 or 6 parking stalls that have electric charging stations. These stalls are designated for electric cars only, and these stalls are located closer to the entry to the theater than the handicap stalls. Oh, and all these electric car stalls are consistently empty, while 2 floors of the 3 are always close to full.
Conclusion:
Electric cars are very rare, or
People that drive electric cars dont go to the movies, or
The theater is too far away for an electric cars charge.
Thank you... we were just having fun!

wait.. I can buy a dolt.. Take the 7500 tax credit. Return the POS, (now it’s used.. no rebate for the next owner so who’s gonna buy it??) then use the 7500 and couple it with other discounts and buy a diesel truck?
Hmmmmmmmmm
Stop driving past them. I know of no state that will fine you for parking in them.
If anyone puts up an argument tell them to try and operate your car with out it’s source of electricity. The battery.
I park in them ALL the time. Sure your typical lib gives me dirty looks on their way to their gas powered Subaru or Prius. But hey, who cares. They sit empty, they are NOT reserved for handicap people. They are reserved for the mythical electric car that NO ONE has bought.
Oh, and it’s a 6000lb 1 ton extended cargo van I park there :)
But now we know who bought one of the 8,000 Volts. I wonder how many of the 8,000 are being bought by folks.
Has anyone volunteered to go through a car wash in a Chevy Volt yet?
shocking i tell ya.
So you walked in with Steponallofus and Diane Sawyer?
Pray for America
When I was looking into ways to heat my shed, I quickly learned electricity is not a very efficient or cheap way to produce heat. Safe yes, but it really chews up power.
The beauty of burning gasoline is that you get heat for free.
I am guessing most of them were purchased by the government, or GE. But I repeat myself.
