Devastating Info About Mitt Romney's Unelectability that He Wants to Keep from the Public!

Mitt Romney is a loser...an election loser.

In his 1994 senatorial campaign, he lost by a huge margin (by more than 17 points) in a year when Republicans took over Congress. Despite everyone else’s success, Romney managed to lose.

Of all his campaigns he has won only once when he won a single term as governor of Massachusetts, but he quickly tarnished that close victory.

After becoming governor in 2002 with Kerry Healey as his running mate, Romney proceeded to mismanage his position so that his approval dropped rapidly into the 40's and then the 30's. He left that mess to Lt Gov Kerry Healey when he jumped ship to avoid the huge loss he knew was coming in the next election. Left in the lurch, Healey was not able to rebound above 36% due to Romney's terrible performance as governor.

With no thought to his poor performance, Romney then entered the 2008 campaign for the presidency on the strength of a losing senatorial campaign and a destroyed governorship.

He lost again miserably against inept, weak John McCain. McCain more than DOUBLED Romney's numbers by attacking Romney’s flip-flop record as a tax increaser.

The summation of Romney's election history: he tends to lose. Yet Romney is the man we are told is "the most electable".

His election record says that is simply a falsehood.

Add to his history of losing his political record as a flip-flopper, as a vulture capitalist, and as an advocate of liberal, pro-tax, pro-choice and anti-gun causes, and it's easy to see that the man will continue to be a loser....of elections.

We cannot afford to watch Romney get taken to the woodshed by Barack Hussein Obama.

It's hard to see the pre-planned destruction of our Sacred Republic just play out in front of our eyes and we're supposed to sit on our hands.

So in your opinion, who has "pre-planned" the destruction of our Republic and who is saying we are "to sit on our hands"? I want names.

Romney lost to McCain and McCain lost to Obama. Now Obama's the incumbent. And we expect Romney to beat Obama NOW?

Crazy, isn't it? I've been asking brain dead Republicans that question for a couple of weeks now, and not a single one of them has had an answer.

The man who couldn’t beat McCain is endorsed by the man who couldn’t beat Obama...enough said. This argument did not apply in 1980: the man who lost to the man who lost to Jimmy Carter still unseated Carter.

Ford did not defeat Reagan by winning enough primary delegates to claim victory. He defeated Reagan on the convention floor.

I like Santorum and Perry, but he’s not the fighter that Gingrich is.

The hatred leveled at Gingrich by the GOP establishment amazes me.

This is my Masada year with the GOP.

“Most electable” does not necessarily mean “viably electable”.

I think “most electable”, in the minds of most people, means that the candidate both can defeat the opposition and has a decent probability of doing so.

I think we need to understand that there is a big difference between the modern version of unfettered capitalism and free enterprise. Too often you see capitalism married to government where companies like Bain are free to use their investment capital to buy up competing companies or to leverage control of companies and then loot them and then bankrupt the companies they own without incurring any personal liability for the debts that are left over after they loot their quarry.

In a Free Enterprise economy if you buy a company you incur the risks and liabilities of running that company and you would not be able to keep assets in your other companies if one of your companies goes belly up.

Using the bankruptcy laws to make money is a dishonest business model deserving of severe criticism by those of us who truly beloved in Free Enterprise. Romney's business model is a deviation from true risk
/loss. Capitalism and is closer to Crony Capitalism.

If I run up enormous debt, I have to pay it off. If I file bankruptcy, then what I own is part of the assets the court uses to pay off the creditors.

Romney ran up enormous debt in some of those companies, took out multi-millions in fees and dividends, and then those companies filed bankruptcy and paid pennies on the dollars to their creditors.

The question is this: Why did Bain not have to put its assets on the line as part of the bankruptcy settlement?

If it were you or I, our house, our accounts, our cars, and all our property would be part of the asset list to pay off the creditors.

How did Bain avoid this?

That’s the million dollar question, and I’m betting the answer smells to high heaven.

Pre-planned - that's easy, CPUSA, Obama, Cloward-Piven, Ayers and the assorted lists of 200-300 communists in our governement, unions, UN, Soros and his ilk - is that enough? They want to wreck our capitalist free market economy and replace it with socialism/communism.

Sit on our hands - the above and MSM.

It is absolutely clear that Willard stripped assets to enrich himself, bankrupting some of the companies he burdened with huge debts - and foisted their unfounded pension obligations onto the backs of taxpayers, while giving himself huge payouts.

Those are facts.

If you want to argue Willards vulture approach was a net positive, after ruining many lives, do it. Just whining isn’t becoming to someone who claims to be a conservative. Prove the moral good. Demonstrate it with facts. Show us with evidence the NET effect of his unbridled pursuit of personal wealth.

2008 AND 2012 are my Masada years with the GOP, apparently.

2010 I and a bunch of others took our state back and got Feingold’s ass out of Congress with a decent candidate.

If we had candidates like Scott Walker or Paul Ryan to vote for it’d be 2010 all over again.

Excellent post, Agent.

If the GOP comes through with Romney as what they’re offering me, then I will fight to the last man. The Samson solution is also on the table.

The betrayals of the past will not again be permitted this time around.
