Bill Press Show Can't Stop Trashing Tim Tebow's Kneeling: 'I Just Wanted to Throw Up'

The Munchkins that lead liberal talk radio really can't stop demonstrating their hatred of Denver Broncos quarterback Tim Tebow. On Thursday's Bill Press Show, the lapsed Catholic host launched into another broadside about Tebow's winning touchdown pass to Demaryius Thomas, and how the "Tebowing" made him nauseous.

"I couldn’t believe it and then I looked up at the screen and there he was on his knees with his hand up to his head in the pose that he has now made famous. It was Tebow doing the Tebow and I just wanted to throw up," lamented Press. "Ruined the moment, ruined the moment by trying to make it an act of God, by trying to make it an act of religion instead of what it was, a lucky pass if you ask me – uh, ‘cause he’s not known for having a great throwing arm." The hate also flowed from his executive producer, Peter "I Hate His Face" Ogburn, who wanted callers to denounce Tebow. On Monday's Bill Press Show, Ogburn was filling in, and he ginned up the callers: "I’m looking at you to weigh in at 866- 55-PRESS. I am so tired of Tebowmania and I’m so tired of people telling me I shouldn’t be talking about Tebowmania, cause it matters and Tim Tebow is a jerk and I want him to shut up. I hate his face and he’s not that good of a football player."

Aren`t these the same guys who say ``Hail Mary Pass`` all the time?
Hail Mary Pass is a pass on a prayer guided by Angels.

Tebowing is an internal and external verbal and physical prayer with an outward sign witnessing God to men.

Where Mary is, Jesus is there too.

Even Little Leaguers pray for a win.

May I juxtapose the Press statement with one made by an ordinary football fan who is not a Broncos or Tebow fan. This man walked into a local cigar lounge and quickly realized that the topic of the moment was Tim Tebow’s Sudden Death Overtime victory pass.

And he said: “That Tebow has to have the biggest ba!!s in the NFL to go into the huddle and call a play where he would be passing INTO Jim Harrison’s territory!

I tended to agree with his opinion, but after subsequent thought, I don’t think he called THAT play in the huddle. But his ba!!s are just as big, anyhow. I think Tim called a certain play in the huddle, but when they lined up for the play and he saw how dumb the Steelers were set up DE-fensibly, he called an audible, changed the play to throw into Harrison’s territory....and the rest is history. In either case; he has great big BRASS ones! ;o)

Wow! I knew Bill Press was a very bitter man. But I never realized he was this bigoted. Reminds me of an old guard Soviet man. Did Bill Press also throw up at the brutal torture of dogs by Michael Vick?

Whatever, it shows just what a weakling Bill Press is. This is sufficient to make him the butt of jokes and disdain.

Tim Tebow is hardly the only NFL player to “take a knee.” Packers all-pro wide receiver Gredg Jennings - another exemplary Christian - has been doing it since he played for Western Michigan.

Plaxico Burress started doing it this this year. Perhaps he is trying to turn his life around or maybe he's just grateful for a second chance.

One of the best lines from that movie. William Moynihan, the screenwriter, clearly was making the point that the Whitey Bulgerish character played by Nicholson only supported the Church in the sense that it created a community that was tight-knit, ie. easier to keep track of the flock.

Press is only a Catholic in the sense that he can claim his youthful experience being raised in the Catholic tradition allows him immunity when it comes to all things religious. Wrong!!!
