When Drudge broke Monicagate, Bill Clinton’s minions broke the news that Drudge was gay. Drudge responded, in effect, “So what?” And that pretty much put an end to it.

I don’t notice Hillary admitting that she is a lesbian, even though that is supposed to be a Good Thing.

I give Drudge credit. Maybe he is gay, but he is not a gay activist. There is a huge difference. I have had gay friends over the course of my life, and as far as I’m concerned it’s their business, as long as they don’t try to push it on everyone else, including our children.

I have kept an eye on it, out of curiosity, over the years, and I have never seen Drudge report on the many gay controversies that we have been plagued with over the years with anything but neutral objectivity. That’s more than you can say for the MSM, who are constantly pushing the gay agenda. As long as it doesn’t effect his work—and it doesn’t—it’s his business, as far as I’m concerned.

Romney is dropping like a stone at Intrade.

Intrade betters had Romney as their favorite as of last night on the breaking news of the X. It looks like the weather-van is going the other way as they must think Gingrich is successfully defending.

It’s been embarrassingly obvious since the primary began that he’s supporting the Romney candidacy.

I know it isn’t a scientific sample, but the comments on these Drudge links seem to suggest a backfire.

Yeah, Gingrich is rising on Intrade for sure.

Though nobody should take Intrade that seriously for anything. It’s little more than a glorified lagging indicator of prevailing conventional wisdom.

Everybody who supports a particular candidate thinks the media should support their candidate and trash all others. That’s how the RATS work. I don’t want to see that from conservatives. My only objective is to defeat Obama.

Painful Truth Bump

Were having much the same discussion with af_vet_rr earlier. It was something that had slowly been dawning these past few weeks, but really was obvious this morning that the only news that was headlining was the bad news, and news that could be viewed as positive for any GOP candidate but Romney/Paul was pushed waaay down the page.

He even started in on Santorum with the nerdy high school photo - seriously - I am pretty leery of Santorum’s affinity for BigGovernment, but come on, any one out there NOT have a painfully awkward high school yearbook photo?!

All I know is that it feels as if we are being herded by folks we never figured would be up for such a thing, and regardless of WHO they are trying to herd us toward, (Romney/Paul), it is more than a little unsettling, and to paraphrase GoCards on a different thread, our options are dwindling rapidly!

The good news is, our eyes and ears SHOULD now be fully open and I for one am ready to align with the coalition that seems to be forming around Newt.

May God give us strength and wisdom and COURAGE.
Tatt

Here's one thing to keep your ears perked up for.

Paul is suing about the Huntsman ad with his Chinese children. So far, we are led to believe it was a NH PAC for Paul, but early detective work says it may have come from SF California. Since it made Paul look racist,( which he is), Paul took the hit. Now he's mad.

Looking at the trail, it will most likely be Dem or Romney. Remember Cain's women? He said it had to be Perry. Perry denied. My bet is it turns out to be Romney. He's the one with the money.

Either way, I bet there will be fireworks somewhere down the road.

What did Drudge do?
He posts links 99.5% of the time to things he is interested in, that’s it.
You may think he is in the tank for Romney, just wait.

One could easily claim that Newsmax is pulling for Gingrich.

I always had a feeling that deep-down Drudge likes Ron Paul. LOL

Thanks so much, for your hard work for Rick Perry.

“When Drudge broke Monicagate, Bill Clinton’s minions broke the news that Drudge was gay.”

Sheesh. It doesn’t pay to mind your own business. You get walloped with a reality bat. I never knew about it. He said, “So what?” and ended it? Hmmm.

I think Rush will happily be endorsing Romney again.

I guess you didn't hear Rush today when he told the lady caller they were "taking Romney out". Rush has been on the Newt bandwagon from the beginning and it is easy to see.

I don’t think that Drudge is intentionally keeping Mittens out of the headlines. Milt is just not making any news. He is a dud milquetoast who is sitting on his lead. That is why he is going to be creamed by Obummer.

I think Drudge is doing everything possible to try and shape the election, whether it's downplaying Perry's endorsement of Gingrich or Santorum's win in Iowa. He deliberately runs crappy pictures of candidates he doesn't like.

Romney was pinning his campaign on his winning the first two primaries. When the vote in Iowa was uncertified and Romney was only up by a few dozen, he declared victory for Romney. When the vote was certified and Santorum the winner, it's now being downplayed.

Look at the Santorum high school yearbook crap as well. This is not an issue, but on a day when Santorum's big news is that he beat Romney in Iowa, that's the story that Drudge plays up.

I revise and extend my remarks. I never noticed a particular bent on Drudge siding with one candidate or another...until today.

I did see the Santorum yearbook photo story that had no purpose other than mocking Santorum. The other piece on him was based on some rumor mill BS about his wife that has no bearing on anything and was purely there to claim some hypocrisy that doesn’t exist.

It does appear that whoever is editing the news there has a bent towards a particular candidate or they just hate Santorum and don’t have any legit dirt on him.

If it was the story and the pictures of her when she dated the abortion doctor back when she was in her 20s, yeah it has no bearing on things. People do stupid crap in their 20s, and she's not running anyways.

The photos they use are definitely very selectively picked.

Free Republic seems like a better place to get news anyways.
