My sister, Sharon, is going in for surgery (as I type) to correct a "flipped stomach." It's blocking her intestines. She is in considerable pain and has been for a while, but soldiered on because it was crunch time at her job.
In 2010, we almost lost my mother from the same thing.
Sharon has two young children and an extremely worried husband. Please pray for them all.
Praying for your sister, your family and the medical team. Pease keep us updated.

Thrilled to report that the surgery went very smoothly and Sharon is in recovery.
If she hadn't gone in when she did, it would have killed her. It was very scary to find out how close she came to dying!

I'm lifting this thread up again. After only a few days home, my sister is back in the hospital. Two surgeries in 2 days for several pockets of infection. She's in really bad shape and very weak.
Please continue to pray for her!
