President Barack Obama is adding to his massive pro-abortion record by placing yet another abortion activist on a top federal appeals court — this time a lawyer credited with helping craft the Roe v. Wade decision.

The only silver lining here is this: this guy is LESS BAD than Obama’s initial nominee for the vacancy.
Obama wanted Goodwin Liu, who was just 40 years old, had never served as a judge, and has “found” just about every liberal policy pipe-dream ALREADY to be enshrined in the Constitution, including a right to welfare. Liu hadn’t even worked as an attorney much before entering Berkeley’s ivory tower to write unreadable articles. The Senate halted Liu’s ridiculous nomination with a filibuster.(*)
Instead, we get Hurwitz. He is 25 years older than Liu and thus cannot serve as long. Also, Hurwitz (unlike Liu) is an experienced judge.
I don’t like what I see in the OP about Hurwitz, but consider how much WORSE we could have done.

Well at least he was appointed to the Ninth Circus, where his presence won’t really change anything with regards to jurisprudence. I believe the Ninth holds the record of the largest number of decisions overturned by the Supremes.
Obama must feel pretty safe.
Fresh off totally disrespecting Catholics, he’s rubbing their noses in it. Why shouldn’t he feel good? The FL election is going his way - Romney is the opponent he wants to face, the MSM is on his side, no matter what.
If people don’t wake up and fight, he will be well on the way to installing total tyranny in his second term.
